Gem Forest Hotel Nairobi - MGallery Collection

The location of the hotel is conveniently situated near shopping malls, restaurants, and sites for tourists. It’s easy to access by vehicle, motorbike, or foot (safe sidewalks). The hotel is spacious, clean, attractive, and has optional dining! The view is nice from the front or back.

There was nothing I didn’t like about Gem Forest.

This is a new hotel very well designed. Three restaurants a heated swimming pool sauna and steam room. I was attending a meeting at the UN it's 15 minutes walk. The staff are excellent

I absolutely loved my stay at the GEM Forest Hotel. The food was excellent, the comfort of the rooms was outstanding, and the location is perfect—peaceful yet convenient. What truly made the experience special was the staff: warm, attentive, and genuinely fabulous. They made me feel welcome from the first moment and ensured everything was perfect throughout my stay.

The property was bright and very welcoming. As well as had all the amenities for the perfect staycation! The location was safe with a mall and other stores with walking distance.

bad design in wardrobe area means there is a sharp edge right above where you place your cases. I sustained a head injury from it.

They did a beautiful design of the property and the location has beautiful views!

The room had a strange smell, and things were dirty (mugs, water glasses, etc) in the room. The bed was very hard. The pool only has 4 chairs, which is not enough. They arranged a breakfast to go, which I appreciated, but it was $30 per person and included a coffee and a couple pieces of sliced fruit (literally two slices of pineapple and two slices of watermelon - not even ripe) and 4 bite-sized pastries. The taxi shuttle from the airport is $60, which is much more than other hotels in the area. They seem to be taking advantage of people with the prices they charge when they know people are arriving from out of town and don’t know how to navigate the city.

I loved the warm hospitality, impeccable service, and luxurious ambiance. Silvia at the first floor restaurant in particular, went above and beyond to ensure every meal was a delightful experience. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and warm demeanor made dining an absolute pleasure. She anticipated my needs, offered great recommendations, and always had a welcoming attitude that added a personal touch to the experience.Beyond the restaurant, the beautifully designed rooms to the well-maintained facilities and the seamless service made my stay comfortable and memorable.I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning!

The one great thing about our stay was Miriam who served us at Kahani restaurant - she was so customer-focused and an absolute pleasure to be served by.

Service wasn’t great all around -no assistance with bags at check in despite my ankle being injured, slow service by the pool side with our lunch arriving an hour and fifteen minutes later and general lethargy to serve overall. We also had a terrible experience with a couple of staff members who were mocking us for an issue with the lighting in the room (like we are expected to know how their fancy lights work) - and that was even after we had been rudely woken up at 11.30 by an incorrect delivery at our door. Absolutely no remorse for any errors.

Hotel is new and fresh and clean and obviously well designed what you expect from MGallery. Lots of well planned details. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Loved the gym and the views to the forest. Tasty breakfast. Also big plus for the hotel manager who after few service shortcomings made it up to our stay with offering an opportunity to refresh and shower before our flight after we checked out.

As it’s a new hotel, still few staff services feels as have to be made better, but they seem like being on it.

The best thing about Gem Forest is their friendly and helpful team who make you feel welcomed and at home as soon as you check in. The hotel is in a great location and is a great modern addition to the Nairobi hotel scene
