Having previously used the Pullman, I was unsure if the Mercure would match up, but I am glad to say it did. The only problem is the lack of a Lobby, but you can use the one at the Pullman as they are connected. There is also a great co0working space incase you have a meeting or just want to work outside your roomThe only downside is that the entrance staff are less friendly than the other side.
The reception team is excellent, especially Nicolas, always checking on me.I had sprained ankles upon arrival and he helped me get my medicine delivered to my room timely. Restaurant I like the ambiance feels warm and relaxing, rooms great and very clean I enjoyed my business stay. I will be back for fun stay ?
Room, location, Helpful staff
Breakfast was really bad and limited.Management are firm and not flexible.
Upgrade of the Pullman hotel was great. Mattress was poor though.
Fast Internet was unstable
Good location and quick response from staffs
Early checkin requests extra fee
The first person we met on reception was very kind, welcoming and attentive - recognised that he had us waiting due to another customer preceding us - so he apologised for the delay (not his fault as he was alone serving customers), brought us hand cleaning towels, drinks and sorted out our paperwork whilst we were sat and relaxed a little. This was certainly the best reception welcome I have received to date upon all my travel to six continents!
Really helpful staff, issues with wifi was resolved. Was at a convenient location for my business trip.Breakfast was good with great service culture – from front desk, rooms, dining and security (who helped me call my uber when it was waiting on the other end of the property).
No fridge in the room. Was not a big deal.
The location was ideal for our onward journey.
The accommodation was a bit run down and could have done with a deep clean. We were a family booking but our rooms were spread across different floors and we couldn't travel between floors on our specific room pass. We were only given 1 room pass which meant that when my husband left to give my daughter and mother in law items from our cases, my other daughter and I had to wait in darkness for him to return with the key card.
Good location in Upper Hills
poor maintenance, bad beds. Rooms fairly ok
High quality rooms, high quality breakfast, and extremely professional staff. A special mention goes to Veronica, who kindly satisfied any request about my accomodation and travel necessities.
the staff is very nice and polite the gym is very well equipped rooms have bathtub and shower
the bed is not very confortable the view from my roomthe key was not working well, I had to reactivate all the time
Bad
The ac did not work, we had to change the room,Even after paying in Cash during check in they charged my card
Ontbijt was ala-card and perfectly served with more than enough choice. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Rate for late check-out and early check-in was reasonable
Light in bath room was broken. But fast repair was there.
nice stuff
we ordered room for 4 and we got room for 3, so 9 years old slept with us. the restaurant was really not good; received the entry after an hour and the steak smell bad…
It was clean and well-run, and the staff were always pleasant and hospitable
There was no way to control the heating or to make my room warmer. The key card also needed reactivation at least once every day.
Staffs, internet
Old lift, room key, no push shower
Fine hotel in the financial district. For visits there it is perfectly acceptable. There is a big gym and a small pool. The people, as everywhere in Kenya, we’re very nice.
The gym had a sign that it was closed, but it was open. That was confusing, it should not be difficult to take down the papers on the door and the sign. The gym had fairly old equipment, but overall worked.
