Hays Suites Hotel

The breakfasts were very good, always something that I like in Kenya! The staff were pleasant and accommodating and the place was clean. Was also assured about the threat of mosquitos lol which, as a westerner was a point on concern.

That you couldn't have alcohol ..I didn't realise that it wasn't permitted before booking. That said it wasn't a big deal once known.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hays Suites Hotel. The people at the reception are really lovely and helpful. They gave us some great recommendations and helped us organise day trips with a fantastic driver. The hotel was close to an ATM, pharmacy, a really good restaurant called CJs and a few other handy things. The room was clean, modern and spacious. Highly recommend!

It was not badly priced so I didn’t mind

Mosquitos dealt with me and I kept complaining daily. They would convince me it had been fixed and it would still happen. I wish they really fumigated the place or something.

The rooms were large and clean, the showers were hot, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant didn’t have a lot of options but the food was good. There are a few other restaurant options a short walk away.

Very secure hotel. Great area. Rooms clean and water provided.

No safe in room. No air conditioning. No bar. Alcohol prohibited. Very basic.I would have got a much better room rate if I had just booked on my arrival day....One can feel a little foolish having paid more than others.

Overall the service was good. Staff were friendly and supportive. Nice room.

Right in the buzz of Kilimani this is a good value for a no thrills good value for money overnight stay. Clean room, spacious and big bed.

I think the term hospitality has yet to find its way into Somali mindset. Nothing was wrong, and yet there was not a single word more than bare minimum conversation.

We had a misunderstanding with the receptionist in terms of payment, but hotel management intervened and resolved the issues amerkeablily.

though the room was really big but comfortable and felt safe with the card key. if you don't lock from inside, it tells you. very good security and kind staffs.

People were very friendly. Food was good. Internet was top.. You are not far from Nairobi touristic places.

I think that in the bathroom, they have to change the water system because you can get electrocuted in the shower if you are tall. The system is not well isolated.

The staff was friendly and engaging, yet left me alone to work when I needed. The room & facilities were clean and my request for early check in was answered. I felt safe. internet connection was excellent.

I asked to have a kettle in the room and was very happy to have one but seems that servicing it (changing the mugs & spoon) wasn’t intuitive and require special requests.

Great hotel! Clean, friendly, lovely staff, really good Wifi, great location. Airport pick up was really great. Great value food in the restaurant.

I couldn't find any fire escapes and the restaurant wasn't so good for me being vegetarian - but it was generally just a great place to stay.

The room was clean and spacious, comfortable bed too. I was impressed NETFLIX was available.Improvement: Would be nice to provide safe box in the room for storing sensitive personal document/items.

Stayed in Room 804, water pressure in the shower is terrible. Water was dripping from the shower head even when opened at full strength, the dripping got worse to droplets when you turned on the hot shower system which did not heat the water at all. I had to wipe myself down with a cold face tower...

The professionalism of the staff and cleanliness of the rooms and the entire hotel. The location is excellent as well with plenty of retail and restaurants within walking distance and very close to the city center. I would definitely stay here again.

There is some construction going on in the area so you get a little noise but nothing to the point where it's overwhelmingly disturbing the stay.

Very spacious and comfortable room with nice decor. Hotel restaurant also served a good breakfast.

Extremely noisy building work nearby with no let up til midnight. So loud it could be heard even through earplugs. The open design of the hotel with one side of the corridors open to the outside made it much worse as there was no wall to insulate you from the noise.It spoiled what should have been an enjoyable stay.
