- Nice accommodating staff. Good restaurant. Clean.
- Room is big with great view. Very central too.
- Location. It was close to most of my customers offices
Cons -
- No A/C and the TV didn’t pivot to face the bed, so we couldn’t view the TV from the bed.
- Elevator is slow and it is hard to catch Uber since it is so central and traffic is a nightmare.
- There is no air condition in the room and I couldn’t charge my meals to my room because the restaurant is run by a third party

There is no air condition in the room and I couldn’t charge my meals to my room because the restaurant is run by a third party
It leaves up to the standard and clean, I felt safe
The shower doesn’t drain water properly
I enjoyed the beautiful room with the view of the city.
The coldness in Nairobi, however, the AC in the room was so helpful?
The hotel is located in the junction of 2 most famous avenues (Moi and Kenyatta avenue) in the city centre of Nairobi.
I almost got stuck in the elevator because of power failure.
The location is perfect just at the Nairobi City Business District. In addition the hotel is located from the 13th floor and there are several shops that sells goods and services from 12th floor to the ground. The hotel is safe because although the elevator is shared the access to the hotel floors is only granted if a guest key is used.
Noise arising from loud music in the vicinity
In the heart of the CBD (junction of Moi and Kenyatta aves) this is a great location to get around Nairobi from. The hotel is on the 14th floor (elevator, hallway, and room all require a room key to access) and there are guards at both entrances from the street.... so very secure and wheelchair friendly). There is an excellent restaurant of the same name of 13th floor with both African and US/European cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner). There are many floors of small shops in the building (I got my hair cut and bought a camera tripod and linens all without leaving the premises). The staff were kind and courteous and responsive to our needs. We met the manager who truly wanted to know about our experience with both hotel and restaurant and even helped hands-on with ensuring a smooth exit down to the ground floor after check-out. The restaurant manager remembered us both and greeted us like old friends. This was our second stay. Great views. Reasonable rates (U.S. $60/night for 4 nights on Expedia or Booking.com; by comparison, the fleabag Econolodge I stayed at the week before in small-town Wooster, Ohio was US$80 weeknights, US$120 weekends.)
Street noise. Can't be helped given location and weekend eves, but the double-paned glass really cuts it down. Carpet could be cleaner, and the windows; I would have liked to take pictures but the glass was too dirty. The restaurant could do better with inventory; many ingredients were out of stock, but it was a long weekend, with a Monday public holiday (Kenya's independence day).
I just liked that I had a roof over my head for one night
The room was not clean, it was so stuffy. The carpet was dirty. There is a club closeby so it was so noisy I could not sleep after 10hr flight.
Rooms were clean and spacious
Mum slept on the other side and she comlained in the morning about outside noise (clubbing sound from downstairs)
I enjoyed my stay here! The food was amazing and the staff was excellent! Thr location was also perfect!
The only think I didn’t like was there was no air conditioning or refrigerator.
I loved everything about this property! It’s in the perfect location, the people here are the best! I just rebooked this place for me to complete my stay here the rest of my duration here. The gentleman at the front desk was beyond amazing and so was the waitress Joyce! She walked with me to the bank and made sure I was safe, being that I was traveling solo.
Location is amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food was good.
Can’t think of any
Large room. Everything is new. Security at the entrance. Comfortable bed
Noisy from the street next to the club. Be sure to take earplugs. Very slow elevator. There was no air conditioning in my room.
Clean
No charging pointsKettle not working
Very good value for the price. Good view of the city. Very nice cafe/restaurant: simple but good and with warm service. Late check-out for reasonable free. The linens were good. Safety deposit.
The cleaning needs to improve: while the bed seemed clean, we found a few hairs, the restroom was not super clean and items (comb) from a previous guest were not removed. The hotel does not have a private entrance (part of a broader mall), which made security less ideal even if private guards were at the entrance. There is no entrance for the cars, which can be an inconvenience for those traveling for safaris or other tours. Limited ventilation with one small window. Old carpets to be washed or changed. The placement didn’t feel super safe.
Clean
Being in the mall, very crowded location and the lift taes a long time to come
Great location, nice restaurant, friendly staff, secure elevator with key card to get in o the floors that was the hotel.
not much ventilation, window that could be opened, could not keep open du to noise from street if wanted sleep, the staff suppled a fan, but that did not help me much a there was much noise from it. slow elevators as there is much offices and shops in building so much waiting time. i would nt stay there again, but could fit good for others :)
Good location , great coffe shop , big room and bathroom
Hot shower was almost non existent
It's located in the city centre, so close to locations in that area, walkable.
- Dirty curtain - visibly not clean- Windows had to be open in my room as no air-conditioning, small windows high up the wall, so ne external view from the room- Lengthy waits for the elevator getting up or coming down is standard as it is on the 13th floor with businesses on the floors below, so lots of people traffic - Not a serene environment, but this is a fair trade off for being in the city centre, so not the hotel's fault at all- Issues with hot water a number of the days I stayed. I left a day earlier.
