Small World Country Club

This is a jewel of a place, so well build and looks like you're next to the coast, the staff were fantastic and has amazing facilities.Stayed overnight with breakfast included, the breakfast is the best breakfast I have experienced anywhere in the Nairobi region.cooked ro perfection and you can tell they have chefs, not cooks. Really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back to experience it once again

The entire stay was amazing. The room was clean, spacious and well lit. There was also free strong wi-fi as well. Breakfast was amazing with so many options available on the buffet. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, considering this was my first visit here. The ambience was excellent as well with the natural scenery. I'll definitely return.

The online booking did not include dinner and so we had to make a separate order for our evening meal. It would be great if this was looked into.

Great location and kind staff

The room was not as described on booking.com. Talked to the staff and they said they did not have such rooms in the property. So this is an obvious mistake on the description and should be updated asap to avoid future disappointments.

The breakfast options were varied with a lot of options to pick from. They had good vegetarian options if you do not eat meat. The grounds are very beautiful and the atmosphere is serene. The also have various seating spaces and lounge areas suitable for group activities such as games and birthday celebrations. Would recommend it as aplace to take a break away from the city.

The communication would have been a bit better as there was some confusion on the type of room i booked. Ensure that the picture you see matches the room you want and call just to make sure that the type of room you book is what you will get and not a different room type. However, the staff is super friendly and eager to assist.

The room was nice, my request for an extra blanket was granted. Judy was really professional in ensuring an upgrade on my earlier booked room.

1.The room needs more sound proofing as we could here the noise from the vehicles on the highway.2. The gardening needs to be upped abit, the area around the restaurant looks a bit bushy.

I arrived at 2am, and was given hut 2, right near the guards/gate. Although not absurdly loud, guards start speaking at about 6am with people (workers) arriving and each other. So, my reason for booking (to have a good night after my late arrival in Kenya) was cut short bc of that.

I loved the look and feel at Small World. The area around is scrubs and bush yet the compound inside is green and full of trees!

Ambience

Breakfast was good but getting charged to bring it to the room. Not a good idea. No microwave area, then they can not warm anything for you in the kitchen microwave. Location not very good, close to the highway with many cars, trucks etc passing by. Too noisy.

Rooms, good but need improvements. Tv not working well too.

Executive rooms are very well appointed and clean

I specifically informed them that I was traveling for work and would need at least basic internet connection for emails.. From the first minute I arrived, there was no wifi. It was called to the room and he restarted the router which resulted in a very poor connection that kept logging out and needing a manual password login every 3 minutes.To make matters worse, there is no Safaricom connection there.. meaning it was a wasted weekend trip and I had to rush to work on Monday morning to try and complete my reports.

The breakfast was sumptuous, it was complete buffet and the chefs and the staff were really friendly.

The friendly atmosphere. The resort was quiet and peaceful on the second day which was a Monday. The service was excellent.

The highway is busy and a bit noisy in the room which might disturb some.

Small World provided exceptional service, with kind waitstaff, sumptuous cuisine, and incredible rooms. My experience there was truly outstanding.

While I appreciated the cleanliness of the swimming pool at Small World, I found its size to be somewhat lacking.

Breakfast was good, would have to have more options on the breakfast menu especially for people like me who don’t like beverages.

Include price list for the menu bar in the rooms

The staff are friendly

The standard double room is not as in the pictures. We had to top up to get the deluxe room, and checking in and method is tedious

Overall place ia Awesome.Sadly there was no WIFI and Mobile Network is not stable.

No WIFI especially without a TV made it tough.

Superb rooms, brilliant ambience, great environment and lay out of rooms and compound. Well looked after gardens.

This location is a just a bit too close to the main highway. Perhaps they could consider double or triple window glazing. Other than that, it is an VERY beautiful place.
