Hilton Garden Inn Nairobi Airport

I am very much in love with the VIP treatment that my lady and I received at every level of service. Next time, I¿ll order a kitchenette. I would also love to use the Infiniti Pool and onsite gym. Overall a very Grand Hotel!

The food at the cafe in the lobby was reheated cold food. But that didn¿t detract from the overall experience.

The hotel is about 2 miles from the airport. It's spacious and clean, and has an onsite bar and restaurant. The staff was pleasant, and the room was comfortable.

It's a $20 cab ride to get to downtown Nairobi, so it's a great hotel if you're just staying in Nairobi on a transit visa. But for a downtown/shopping experience, it'll take 30 minutes or so to get to city center.

I spent 5 nights, out of 10 nights at the Hilton Garden Inn in Nairobi. Every room we slept in was without air-conditioning and this was pretty bad since it was pretty hot and there was a smell coming out of the bathroom. They just apologized. No good!

The passivity of the Reservation Manager on handling issues and just trying to blame the situation on the air-conditioning people. I have to complain strongly and ask him to compensate me with a "free dinner" which he did but I had to put him on the spot

The drivers were very good.

We stayed for 5 nights at this hotel in a room without air conditioning and it was awful.

modern, clean, new, better than expected rated as 3.5 on most sites but should be a 4.5 pleasant surprise highly recommended

A very new and clean hotel quite close to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Fast and easy check in. The free shuttle from the airport to the hotel was a nice bonus.

Breakfast was pricey at $ 25 per person.

The hotel is super clean. The shower was the highlight of my stay. I traveled with a toddler so naturally I wanted a clean and quiet place where she too could be comfortable. She too loved our stay albeit a brief night over. We would definitely return. The staff were amazing including the driver who brought us to the airport, super helpful.

I ordered to go breakfast but was disappointed as some of what I asked for my child was not added. I specifically asked for plain yogurt only to find strawberry flavored sweet yogurt inside, my child doesn’t take sugar.

Room service food wasn’t up to the level of the price and room service staff need some extra training of talking with guests.

We are so thankful for the FRIENDLY staff of the hotel. Very RESPECTFUL and Very HONEST team. During our stay my friend did not know that she left her wallet with all her ID's and, reasonable amount of cash in the restaurant that was when we had our breakfast that morning. My friend did not even realized that she did misplaced her wallet. She was so happy as well as myself when the security staff presented back the wallet in a good condition. Airport pickup was just amazing, I also liked that the front desk were very receptive and exchanged for Shillings immediately. Also loved the room services and the overall location was just right for an overnight transit close to the airport.

Bathroom were right, but no accessories except for soap; could have been well apporinted. Some power points were not working, but not a blocker. Not many vegetarian / vegan options in room services (though I did not ask for special food to be prepared, in the hindsight, I feel I should have ordered outside of the menu and sought options)

late room service with out complete order, waiting for 15 minutes and getting over cooked prawns, apologies from the delivery man say he was late but someone needs to tell the head chef that food continues to cook under the lights or salamander. The head chef’s call to my room was irritating and insulting offering me 30% off & then at check out i see 25%. at check out i complained and the manager couldn't make things right and called the asst chef. at this point i demanded 50%. not a good experience but the shuttle is a real plus.

Spent one night as I had an early morning flight. Served its purpose as an airport hotel. The onsite restaurant was good, front desk staff friendly and helpful, and the shuttle to the airport managed a large number of people well. The room was quiet which was impressive given its location next to a highway and airport.

The location is a bit isolated, but to be expected given its proximity to the airport and purpose.
