The breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit, cold pressed fruit juice, waffles, good coffee, I really enjoyed it! The food in the restaurant also great and not expensive.

Very friendly staff, professional and helpful. The food was great and our appreciation for the cleaning guy who was respectful and kept the room perfect.The manager was also amazingly helpful when we needed food at the restaurant, and though apparently we could not be served for the schedule of service they had, she kept us from leaving to another restaurant and provide us with excellent food! Thank you again. Great service.

There was a bit of struggle with the lighting at the pool, nothing really huge, but perhaps dealing with it could be good. That said. Everything was fantastic!

Cleanliness of room and location. Shampoo/conditioner and body care products.

Towels in our room seemed old and unclean. Hot water in shower was intermittent (sometimes hot and cold shower) Only one coffee cup in room when booking was for 2 people. No creamer or milk for coffee/tea. No bottled water available (either free or to purchase) Lots of Bird shit on window. Dog was allowed to walk through reception and office area was not moved out by staff.

Excellent property! Great staff and facility - location was great and close to wonderful restaurants! Loved our stay! And the front desk staff were super friendly and so helpful! Comfy bed with amazing views! Would stay again.

Great location near the beach. Front desk staff were amazing. Very helpful, attentive, and they gave us a complimentary free late check-out, which was a wonderful surprise, and nice bonus too!

The food at the hotel was a disappointment, as very limited options on the hotel menu too.

Very nice hotel for our stop over between Arequipa and San Pedro de Atacama. Very comfy rooms-we upgraded to a front seat view which was very nice to wake up to. Lovely swimming pool and nice staff. The restaurant was good and they tried really hard to accommodate my coeliac diet with mixed results-our last meal made me unwell unfortunately on my overnight bus. Not a great experience!

The town feels pretty down at heel and we attempted to walk along the beach into town but it didn’t really feel safe so we had to cab everywhere. The beach was covered in rubbish from the river flowing through town carrying an unusual amount of water and rubbish along with it. They were trying to tidy it-such a shame as the beach is a sweeping sandy bay and quite lovely.

I had a very good experience at Novotel Arica. We arrived late in the evening but the next stay we leave from Arica at 22:00, but we have the permission to stay at the swimming pool area after check out until our leaving from Arica. I had a good rest, comfortable bed, nice view and excellent walking shower. The staff was very helpful instead we tried to pay with 4 debit cards, only the credit card works. Seems to be rule for the hotels in Chile to accept only credit cards. In Santiago had to make a deposit of 20 usd for the payment of debit card.

The coffee was tasty but an expresso would be perfect.

The hotel was new and modern. Rooms were nice and bathroom was nice and bright. Breakfast was good.

It was a little bit out of the way. The rooms could have been cleaner. There was dust on the furniture and a sock under the bed.

We had issues with the payment as they couldn’t exchange the dollars to pay for the hotel. We had to go to the mall to exchange the dollars. They should be able to offer this service

We travel the world and live in hotels. No matter if this hotel is new, it does not meet the basic and simple requirement of a quiet and restful place to sleep at night. THE WORST STAY WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.

We stayed three nights and each night was horrible and after the sleepless first night we would have left but no other rooms in the area were available because if their carnival in Arica. Starting at 10 pm the night club a block away started with music that rattled the windows and progressed to double the volume at 2 am and finally at 5: 15 am the head banging, horrible music stopped. Three nights in a row we were terrorized by this noise. The hotel did not have a disclosure about this toxic sound enviroment and did not have sound proof windows. The inexperienced front desk staff were acting like they were the victims because guests were irrate and angry and expecting at least some accountability from the hotel. I think a refund is the minimum this hotel should offer for this cost of our three days of pain and aggrevation. No excuses.

The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. It's new and it's comfortable but.....

Never have we encountered such rude and unhelpful restaurant staff. We were there on the night of 7th January..2 women and one man on duty at the restaurant. The thinner woman could not have made her dislike for us more apparent. They all didn't want to serve us, but she pointed a knife at us when we asked where to sit, and then slammed the qr code down on our table when asked for a menu. She seemed to think she was too important to bother with us. If she worked for me I would sack her on the spot. The other 2 generally ignored us but at least were not offensive. We complained immediately to reception. We confronted the rude woman at the end of our meal and said she was rude and we would complain about her. Her reply was..well you don't know my name so what difference will that make. I am going to complain directly about her to Accor management at the end of our trip. I am a gold member and will make quite clear to them that her behaviour reflects badly on the chain as a whole. I have never felt so angry or unhappy about service and staff at an Accor hotel, where generally I have been very happy to stay at these hotels.

The Hotel is right at the beach. A number of Discos/night clubs are close neighbors. However, there is no noise in the hotel room or at most minimal if you are noise sensitive. Parking in front of the hotel is good, but the main parking is a sort of remote and I did not feel safe there. From the room you have a great view on the beach.

We only had coffee in the room for the 1st day of a 4 night stay.

Nice clean room, friendly staff, excellent free breakfast buffet. And the restaurant is also very good, seafood is wonderful.

Great value. Modern and clean with good breakfast.
