clean -house keeping person is so nice.

I asked a staff( front desk) to send some little package to another guest in the hotel, but it looked like she did not want to do. She kept saying "Why don't you ask another desk person?, you cannot give the package to contact the person to give not through front desk?" At the end, she accepted my request but it was a tired experience.

Breakfast and facilities were excellent, couldn't ask for more. The room was lovely and spacious.

Very little, if I was to be very picky, we were being reminded when breakfast was ending repeatedly, while trying to finish. We did finish up with plenty of time to spare

I like the convenience of the hotel being located close to Oita station. The hotel is also a short walk away from convenience and grocery stores, and is located close to many Oishii restaurants. The hotel is a typical Japanese quality hotel with very polite and courteous staff and Western style accommodations.

They did not have a way to monitor if the washing machines were in use. Although it did not prove to be a problem since I was able to use the machines when I wanted.

Room was nice and bigger than most Japanese hotel rooms I’ve stayed in.

The immediate area surrounding the hotel doesn’t have much going on, but it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the station or more active areas.

Quite cheap for a 4-stars hotel. Has a lot of facilities like restaurant, gym, pool… Room is huge by Japan standard.

The parking lot for bicycle is outside and small. The pool and gym on 4th floor cannot be opened using key room but has to use intercom right next to the door.

The room we finally were assigned was newly renovated (level 10) and comfortable. The gym and pool are very good (run separately to the hotel but allowed to use).

The first room we were assigned was terrible. The sofa had a sheet covering the old upholstery, carpet was very old, more like a hostel then 4 star hotel. Beware only a few floors have been renovated.

A very nice, modern hotel that has an excellent gym. Two huge rooms, one with actual free weights, pin-weight machines and benches! Buffet breakfast was a little underwhelming from the point of view of a western palate.There is a nice drop off area if you arrive by car, and plenty of outdoor free parking onsite.

Clear instructions, clean although small but it fit nicely 2 person with adequate amenities.

The room was clean, the view and the staffs.

Good location - near the JR Oita station.A big bath for people staying at the hotel was available and was good.Breakfast was good.

The restaurant area was superb. The night buffet offers a steak and crab that night and have a good selection of food and desserts. They have a good space and lots of parking lot. This hotel has a 4 coin-op washer and dryer which was very convenient when you have a big family of 5. During our stay for new year, you can write your message and hang the paper which was cute. There are 3 available luggage cart that you can use to haul your items. it secure as well because you have to tap your room key to access the elevator.

The common areas such as the restaurant and the lobby are very nice and the staff is very helpful and attentive.

The room’s feeing was old fashioned, the refrigerator was noisy and it looked dirty (although cleaned daily)

Bad experience

Smelly bed sheet and very dirty blanket. We keep smelling some disgusting smells when lying on the bed.

The location was great. The breakfast was good too. There is a discount store nearby and you can get anything there.

Although the room was cleaned, I didn't like the smell of the room very much.

Staffs are nice. Room is large and good view. I can relax in the hotel. The buffet food and service is excellent. In-house car park is available.

Easy access to JR Station. Was able to accommodate all 8 of us.

Some facilities weren't open the entire 10 days (sweet shoppe), the pool is NOT family friendly. The one restaurant that was open daily was the same exact food all week, not one change. This is best for business stays- in and out.

Room is wide and clean, nice view

-Free parking-Clean and spacious room-Good for a road trip to Beppu and Yufuin

First of all: It's very good value for money! We stayed overnight coming back from Kirishima on our way to the ferry to Shikoku. We arrived with little expectations but the hotel turned out to be some of the best value for money during our entire trip. They also offer free parking right in front of the hotel, which was excellent. Staff is friendly and the breakfast is also very good.

Cleanliness is an issue in this hotel. Above all, the condition of the rooms is kind of bad. The furniture look like 30 years old, many things are damaged, also the walls, some furniture look like they were taken second hand from a junkyard. Worst of all is the carpet in the rooms. It's just so old and filthy full of ugly stains that make you want not to walk on it barefooted. It also smells of old cigarette smoke in the rooms. Still, the hotel is perfectly fine for short visits to Oita area.
