ART Hotel Oita

The location is great and there are lots of dining options within a few minutes by foot.

Our room (all rooms in the hotel?) does not have heat. We were there the last week of November and it was cold enough to require it at night. The hotel did provide us with a portable heater when asked.

Check in and out was smooth and staff were very friendly. Great hotel.

Location, Clerks, comfortable bed, room size.

Maybe it was a holiday, the price was too high for its level. The most point is that bathroom’s fan didn’t work at all!???

Adequate business hotel, a bit pricey.

No bicycle storage onsite & super stingy with their coffee machine.

location was pretty good, though the back alley was a little shady. main entrance location is good, about 10 mins walk from station. service was great too, bed is comfortable and clean.

smaller than it looks on the photos

Passable

The pillows and mattress were extremely bad—too hard and uncomfortable. I couldn’t sleep well at all. Other than that, everything was perfect, from the location and cleanliness to the reception and overall service.

welcoming and friendly staff, accommodating of our limited Japanese skills.welcome drinks complimentary compact but very nice roommodern(our stay was excellent value for money on a booking.com deal)

we didn't have chance to stay longer!parking is paid, but very convenient. alternatively find a cheaper times parking lot

Maybe not very modern, but really good, fine breakfast with huge selection, and a lot of restaurants around... Rating 7,7 is too strict... I find it better, room is a bit smaller, but ok

Clean and Comfortable Wash machine is cheap here

Location,bed , bed light

Sensor light ,room temperature adjustment not able by our self .

Location and breakfast very good and fabulously welcome drinks

It’s in the heart of the city. They have welcome coffee/ tea and free to take toiletries near the elevator.

I chose to get the room where my partner can smoke freely and no need to go down stairs. So, I was expecting that there will be even a tiny space smoking lounge in the room and not to smoke in the entire room. When we entered the room , we could still smell cigarette in the entire room. I requested for another room but unfortunately it was fully booked.

they have coffee. free welcome drinks. rooms were clean. good location

Excellent little hotel right in the middle of Oita, just a 3 minute walk from the Shotengai (covered shopping street). The room was a standard size for a Japanese hotel. Very comfortable and lots of small amenities and details were taken care of (as is the norm in Japanese hotels).

Just one minor complaint, I wish the laundry on the 3rd floor didn't require permission from the front desk to use it. It seemed like an unnecessary step to need to ask for a key to use the facilities.

Very value for money. It has good facilities and the affiliated parking just opposite the hotel n it allows multi entry!

close to station, good breakfast

Need to update foreign language signs in the hotel, elevator open/shut buttons. Room air con complex.

Good sized rooms. Rooms cleaned. Daily. Super friendly car park attendants.

No microwave

Hotel staffs are friendly, not too far from station.

there was some small yellow stain on my blanket but everything else was fine

Room was more spacious than I expected. The beds were comfy. It has all the essentials you need for a short stay. Each guest gets one coffee and one sparking wine as welcome drinks. Close to a shopping street and station was a short walk. Lovely lobby for people to chill and read a book.

Parking attached to the hotel is long stay only so when we only wanted to park for 30minues to check in before returning the car, we had to go to nearby car parks.

Welcome. Vicinity.

Expected it to have same luxuries as previous ART hotels stayed at. It didn’t. It was a lot less. Everywhere to eatyou had to reserve. It was just very, very disappointing for the price it lacked warmth.
