Comfort Hotel Saga

Very close to Saga station.

The air conditioner did not work for the 2 nights I have stayed there. It was so hot I got woken up at night drenched in sweats. We informed the hotel and they are aware and told us that they had a problem with the AC but they did not do anything to compensate for it.

It was convenient being right next to Kumamoto Station and clean!

The rooms are a little cramped for two. There was just barely enough space to open up two luggages.

Location !!! Walked out from JR and found it.The beds were wide. Free easy breakfastof wide selection, from east to west. Ice machine provided (We didn't use it)

Air-conditioner was broken, and it was full of dust. Seemed like no one had used it for decades. One flat pillow per person provided. We were just a bit earlier than 3pm but needed to pay quite a lot extra if requesting early check-in.

・Air conditioning is partially centrally-controller, cannot change to auto mode・Bad soundproofing, a lot of noise from the corridor can be heard・Cleaning policy could be improved: not very eco-friendly (toothbrush is thrown away every day, why?), electric kettle and hairdryer cable are being zip-tied every day which is a bit annoying

Very close to the train station - only a minute’s walk. Bed comfortable. I arrived early and was able to relax in their breakfast/ library/ lounge area until it was time to check in. TV also had streaming and YouTube access. Staff were lovely. FREE BREAKFAST.

Bathroom a little small, but at least there wasn’t a big step up into it like some other places I have been.

Rooms were small compared to Western standards.

Location was so good, staffs were very friendly. Room is not big but very clean.

Very helpful staff with a good command of English. Nice complimentary breakfast, paid parking very nearby. Launderette facilities with washers and separate dryers and free loan of an iron and ironing board.

As is very common in Japanese hotels at this price range the double bed is pushed up against the wall but overall the space available wasn't bad

breakfast is nice although the choice of food is limitedgood location - near the train station and the city centre

room is a bit small especially when you've got a few pieces of luggage

The hotel is clean and comfortable and close to the station. The breakfast is varied. While I didn't see white rice, I did see cereal which is rare for many hotel buffets in budget chains.

The comfort hotel was actually a polished cheap hotel. Unfortunately what they choose to polish is the lobby and not the quality of the room.

The location is very convenient and there are many choices for food around the area. The hotel provides free breakfast. Very cozy place indeed!

The aircon in my room is pretty noisy, so I had to switch off. Luckily the weather was cool in the night, so I didn't feel stuffy in the room.

Located right outside the JR station. Spacious rooms and has a lovely lobby library/cafe area.

The room lighting setting can be quite bright.

Location was perfect, just close to JR station. Hotel is nice, new, clean and comfortable enough. Stuff is nice and very helpfull. Wi-fi works as it should

The facilities are bit old.

Next to Saga station. Don’t need to cross a street. Few restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Friendly staffs. They asked us if we’d like some coffee even after we check-out. There were free varieties of breakfast and coffee with relaxing space until 12 pm. Room was standard clean and spacious comparing to price. Value for money.
