The breakfast was excellent. The staff was polite and helpful. They accepted and held our luggage that was couriered to the property. People in my group enjoyed the onsen.

The bed was pushed into a corner, so it was difficult for 2 people to share it. It would have been fine for a single traveler.

Rooms are large for a hotel and there is a large sento to bathe in. Beds are very comfortable and the lobby is nice and spacious. Surrounded by plenty of nice cafes and delicious eateries. The receptionists are very friendly, extra pillows and robes are available outside on our floor.

Location is a bit far from the station and the carpark is not free. No microwave available.

No bottle water for guests at all, all they have is vending machines, the nearest convenience shop is 6 mins away. The public bath water are not clean, you can see it looks green. Old facility anyway.

Breakfast included delicious curry, and the onsen has accessible hours. The hotel is spacious though the location is a bit non-central.

Since the prices at other hotels in Fukuoka explode for Saturday we had to book this hotel in Kurume which fits with our travel plans, but it turned out to be a great choice! The hotel is located right in middle of 2 train stations (JR Kurume station and Nishitetsu-Kurume station - 1km from each). The first day when we came from Kumamoto, we stop at JR Kurume station and go to the hotel, then the next day, we go to Nishitetsu-Kurume station and take the Nishitetsu train to visit Dazaifu. The location of the hotel is perfect then for our travel plans, the surrounding areas is quiet but beautiful as well, in the middle of the city. Other than that, our room is quite spacious with comfy bedding, big flat screen TV and every amenities needed. The staff speaks English very well so no communication problem at all. A big bonus that I didn't know was that every guest has access to a public bathroom (natural thermal onsen) in the 2nd floor. They even provided yukata and slippers, towels for that. It's a shame that we didn't use this service since we were to shy. Overall a great experience !

I booked a room at Green Rich Hotel Kurume through Booking.com, and it was the most disappointing stay I’ve ever had. I had to book a smoking room due to no non-smoking rooms being available, but the smell of smoke was unbearable. Despite available non-smoking rooms, the staff refused to switch my room unless I paid for an extra night, stating that rooms can’t be changed once entered, even though I hadn’t used anything in the room.The air freshener provided by the staff made the smell worse, and the air purifier running for hours didn’t help either. The room was suffocating, and I couldn’t sleep all night, leaving me physically unwell with a sore throat.As a frequent Booking.com user, I expected better service and understanding of guest needs. This hotel’s policies and attitude were unacceptable, I strongly urge others to consider alternatives until the hotel improves its policies and service standards.

It had a buffet style breakfast that was delicious and the room was spacious.

The staff seemed to act like we were a nuisance as foreigners. There wasn’t much eye contact and one word answers. Maybe that’s just how they were, but it didn’t feel welcoming.

Disappointing

I booked the room for three people for two double beds. THE BED IS SO SMALL AND IT'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR TWO ADULTS TO REST. The room is only for two not for three. Green Rich Hotel Kurume charged for 3 persons but offer the same room as for 2.

Good location to stay to explore Fukuoka and Yanagawa area. Unit is very clean and public onsen baths are great.

The receptionist pretended can’t speak in english and made the conversation really hard. She was so frustrated at me and made me feel it was my fault. So disappointed otherwise it was a good stay.

Nice room size compared to other hotels in Japan.

There were people with tattoos in the hot springs bath, and no staff was checking these facts. The staff who came to clean the bath just kicked the bath chairs with leg in front of a staying guest, which shows a very bad quality of hospitality service. I was disappointed to see such things as a retiring guest to this hotel. :((((( The massage chair quality is really bad: it felt like a torchure chair, not a massage chair.

Very bad experience

We booked this hotel because it was boasting a private parking. We arrived late in the evening and was told there was no parking at all. We spent 45 minutes driving around looking for a parking spot as all the nearby coin parking lots were full. Ended up paying over 30 eur for the parking. The hotel staff were not helpful at all. Nobody seemed to care about false advertising. No compensation was offered by the hotel. Wi-fi did not work in our room.

Hot Spring is good

We are 3 adults and if we are able to change to Premium Twin Room, we can have 3 separate beds but due to the availability of that room, we have to stay at Twin Room with only 2 beds.

Rooms and spacious, clean and fairly quite well located. Staff, only one spoke good English, the others barely understood, but we could use sign language.

Very limited amenities, no shower cap or cleansing lotion at public bath. Beds are quite hard, pillows too.
