Toyoko Inn Sasebo Ekimae

This is a great hotel in the perfect location. It is right in between the train station and the bus station, so getting around town and to local attractions could not have been any easier. There is also a wonderful grocery store and drug store only steps away the staff was as friendly and helpful as they could be. I didn't spend a lot of time in my room, but every amenity I needed was provided. The room had a refrigerator and hot water kettle. The lobby has an ice machine, water, coffee 24 hours and terrific vending machines. Do not skip breakfast! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

I can't think of anything that I did not like.

The room was exceptionally quiet, clean and looked brand new! The staff obviously takes great care of the hotel.

The employees at the check-in counter on the first floor urged me, a student, to sign up on their membership card (1500) and did not even offer me a student discount and when I checked their website, I could never get a room even though I'm willing to pay. Please be aware of this system and refuse if it is not necessary for you

Clean and close to train station. Had a good breakfast too and toiletries etc available.

Location was convient being next to the port and station. I appreciated that we could store our luggage before check-in and also after check-out. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was also good. I don’t usually eat hotel breakfast, but I’m glad I tried it here.

Hotel seems to be a little old but it is very well maintained. No weird smell in the room, bathroom was clean. The location not too bad as well.

Can tell that it is an old hotel. If some interior changes can make the room feel more cozy or modern. TV is placed on the side table. Maybe it’ll be better to mount the TV up so there’s place to place and open up luggage.

The breakfast was amazing. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Clothes washing facilities reasonably priced. Daily renewal of towels. Location was amazing.

Check-in policy is too strict. No early check in is allowed, even you are just 10 minutes earlier.

This chain is good as always, location was very convenient. Railway station, ferry terminal and bus to 99 islands and Fukuoka are all 2-3 minutes walk away. Breakfast was delicious.

Bed is a little hard, but it’s a common thing for Japanese hotels.
