Apa Hotel Nagasaki Ekimae

Very convenient location, great for tourists who use local transportation.

I requested non-smoking room but got Smoking room. It was aweful.

I booked a smoking room by mistake and the lady at reception wouldn’t change it to non smoking for me.

Very old and dated. Rugs are old and worn. Staff was just ok. Not very friendly

BBC on TV not working. No other English Channel to watch for 4 days. APA in Kagoshima BBC work every day.

The hotel staff is very helpful and professional.

The hotel room is very small. The aircon cannot be adjusted and is on heater mode which makes the room very warm and uncomfortable. The staff provided us with a portable fan which helped a bit.

The strength of this APA hotels is undoubtedly the position. It's not only located in front of Nagasaki train station, but also next to the bus station as well. Some bus stops are literally in front of the hotel, and the tram isn't far either. It's a center position that has all the main attractions of the city either in walking distance or using bus /tram: Chinatown and Glover gardens in the south, peace park in the north and mount inasa ropeway west of it.Room isn't big by any means but nothing outstanding for a business hotel in Japan. Staff was great as always in Japan, super polite and available for any needs.

The bed and pillows were more comfortable than other APA hotels I've stayed at.

Little space to store luggage and window sill was a little dirty.

The hotel is in front of Nagasaki JR station, and this is a great advantage if you travel by Shinkansen. The location allows to visit the city either walking or with public transportations. The room was what you can expect from APA: not very big but fully equipped with all you need for your stay: from kettle, teas and coffees available to toiletries and their yukata. recommended! very good Japanese breakfast.

The room itself was quite small considering the price I had to pay.

I wanted a hotel close to the Railway Station and the Tram, therefore this Hotel is ideal. Its accessible to the Mall for food. Room wise, it’s slightly small but comfortable. Shower and Toilet was great for me as the Water is always hot. But i would stay there again if I was in Nagasaki

Only size of Room, but bearable. Other APA hotels has raised bed for my suitcase.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is across the street from the Nagasaki train station and close to bus and tram stations. There are many restaurants and stores around - even a big mall across the street.

Hotel is next to the highway bus terminal which made me easy to take airport bus. located in front of the station and from my window I could see 26 Martyrs- one of the site seeing and religious place

RoomThe room is not big ( common in Japan ), but clean and had everything that we need. There was decent space to move around, even with two suitcases ( One 24” and One 20” ). There are washing and drying machines, Microwave in the Hotel, which is convenient for people who stay for multiple days. StaffThe staffs were friendly and helpful. The Front Office’s staffs were well-versed in English and accommodating.LocationThe location was also perfect, just a short walk ( less than 10 min walk ) from Nagasaki Station, East Exit. Just a footbridge cross away from Nagasaki Station. The hotel is also near to the bus station that has the direct bus going to Nagasaki airport.

The Irish bar downstairs was amazing. The bartender was so welcoming. Fish and chips 660yen. Drink all the alcohol you want 2000yen per hour.The hotel position was great.

The bathroom was so ridiculously small, that you could only take 1 step in and sit on the toilet and from that same position climb in the shower.And you had to enter the bathroom sideways as the door only opens so wide. The bathroom was within 300mm of the front door. No bedside cabinet. Bed pushed against the wall. Smaller than a cruise ship cabin.

Very good staff and close to Nagasaki Station.
