    Pros +

    • It’s a hotel tailored for (all inclusive) Japanese customers and also families. The rooms are basically tatami mats with no furniture , but that is the point. The room style is simple but very aesthetic and has a gorgeous view of the city and Nagasaki bay. The staff is helpful, albeit have a limited knowledge of English. The breakfast is a mix of Western and Japanese, dinner fully Japanese and need to be pre-ordered. If I would visit Nagasaki again, I would go there for sure.
    • The room is very specious and newly renovated. The view at night is stunning. We love everything at the hotel. It is convenient if you have a car.
    • The room is very spacious and super clean. It has fantastic view of Nagasaki city. The lobby is a little bit old fashion but clean. Breakfast is great and staff are very helpful.

    Cons -

    • No laundry, or laundry service.
    • The lobby is a little bit old fashion but clean.
    • They put us up in the Annexe where the views were blocked by scaffoldings. The building was in a poor state in severe need of renovation. Room condition can be very much better. First time in Japan toilet has no bidet.

Only the location at the hill gave it some points.

Fantastic spacious room with amazing view of city. It's up high. So you really need a car. Not sure how often bus goes. We stayed 2 nights.Room was best we have stayed in.

Not able to walk to and from city area

I chose a Japanese-style room. The tatami room was comfortable and I felt more rested than if I had slept on a bed.

I used the hotel for business and was surprised at the beautiful night view. The breakfast buffet was very good.

    10Kai2223Posted on: 7-13-2024

Child friendly staff, delicious breakfast buffet, great views

    10RuthPosted on: 6-5-2024

The view from the room was amazing. The staff was friendly and the price was reasonable.

    10LauraPosted on: 3-26-2024

The room had a great view of the sunrise and sunset and was very relaxing. As the reviews say, the view is spectacular and I highly recommend it. Also, the sauna was also very pleasant and satisfying.

I was very impressed by the breakfast. The hotel staff kindly guided me around and I had a pleasant morning. I like the castella so much that I bought it to take home.

    10Nic1212Posted on: 3-11-2024

I wasn't expecting much since it was a very low price to stay, but I was surprised at how specious the room was. In addition, I could see the night view, and the lights of the port and city were beautiful and soothing.

Nice Japanese room with very good view. Along with large window the bathtub is equipped.

Less hotel toiletries, You should prepare by yourself beforehand. The room was nicely renovated, but cleaning was not perfect. To the Nagasaki station, the distance is short but hard to walk up/down. You should come by car or bus, taxi.

Beautiful room! Only one night was not enough to crawl Nagasaki. Buffet breakfast was good especially freshly baked croissant was amazing!

    10Karen5522Posted on: 1-14-2024

Public Onsen was Tatami floored and was fun experience. I am not a big fun of raw fish, but "Kaisen-don" which raw fish topped bowl rice was so delicious.

    7SharonPosted on: 1-7-2024

The view over Nagasaki was amazing and why we chose the hotel.

It is a little dated but the location, staff and view make up for this.

    7MarthaPosted on: 1-6-2024

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, and the hotel view was stunning. It is easy to access the bus stop because it is besides the hotel.

Please do better work with the cleaning of the rooms. The bed sheets were very clean, but the quilt and the mattress were awful, and I struggled to sleep well seen that. The hotel is amazing, just clean better

    3ConorPosted on: 12-16-2023

The view was top notch, with likely the best look on Nagasaki outside of Mt. Inasa. Everything worked in the room, and the beds were clean.

This hotel was incredibly out of the way. A difficult walk up a steep hill, fairly inaccessible except via car or taxi. The staff was unhelpful (told us that check-in was at 3pm, but when we returned at 3pm, they made us wait until 3:20pm before they would allow us to check in. The room was small with terribly outdated carpet, beds, and appliances. The shower was tiny and bad.

Great service. Newly renovated room with a great view. Rooftop onsen. Cheap breakfast.
