- Located near Mt. Inasayama, Luke Plaza Hotel is beautiful with stunning views of Nagasaki city. A delicious buffet breakfast and there's a superb teppanyaki restaurant. The shuttle bus to Nagasaki station, sightseeing was convenient.
Cons -
- No onsen or even public bath is definitely a miss. No coin laundry either.
- I can't find anything.
- Location required you to either drive or rely on the hotel shuttle to access the city. On the plus side, it means that it is in a quiet surrounding with just some cars driving past and but no crowds.

I really appreciated their professionalism and hospitality. All the staff were super nice and friendly, and happy to help guests. The hotel has a great night view so you can enjoy it even if you don't go up to the top of the mountain. I liked all the facilities too. They provided a comfortable night wear and slippers and the bathroom was big enough, well maintenanced and clean. We comfortably spent our time there. We didn't try breakfast but would like to try next time!
I can't find anything.
We stayed here on a friend's recommendation and the hotel was every bit as nice as we had expected. It is on Mount Inasa with a wonderful view down over Nagasaki harbour. There is a regular free hotel shuttle bus to Nagasaki Station - all day at weekends, there is a gap early afternoon on weekdays. Last bus timetabled 20:55 but once left a few minutes early. The breakfast is served on the top floor - amazing views and a good selection of Japanese and western style food. Our room and bathroom were very clean and the beds comfortable. Do ask for a room with sea view. There is a coffee lounge where you can sit and have free tea and coffee during the day - as well as having a fridge and kettle etc in your room. Comfortable sofa (can convert to a bed if a family staying) and desk and chair. Twin "single" beds were actually double bed sized. The hotel lobby is amazing! Lunch at Dejima museum ( the island which the Dutch historically traded from) was delicious - and the museum interesting. Glover park was beautiful day and night - with great views. The atomic bomb museum and Peace park are essential to visit.
Location was on the side of a hill so access to it is either a long walk uphill or to wait for the hotel shuttle to the train station, which runs twice an hour, I think. The hotel itself is pretty old but it is very comfortable and the room size was big for japanese standards. As we had a car, it was a short drive up the hill to the lookout point in the evening. If you are driving, I suggest leaving your car at the hotel, taking the shuttle bus to the city and then using the tram system to get around to the different sites, saves trying to find car parking.

Beautiful view and very professional staff
The WiFi was slow as heck. Big problem in 2025 as we move into a world of digital nomads like my friend and I. We resorted to our mobile hotspots. The building is a bit old. The thermostat was unable to switch to cooling. Only heating was allowed. We opened the windows to make the room cool enough to sleep after we showered and the room got a bit steamy.
Spacious room. Nice view.
The location is up in the hill. Quite inconvenient if without a car. They provide shuttle service to the train station. But I'm not sure of the schedule.
The view was rather nice and the room was clean and tidy, all the necessary amenities were present and the room was large enough for any reasonable activities
The hotel is rather old and dated. The interior decor, although maintained nicely, reeks of the 80-90’s so much that it would pass perfectly as those reminiscence scenes in modern movies of that time. Additionally, it also gets very spooky at night as there are not much guests and staff on the abandoned palace like premises. Do not press on the third floor in the lift after dark because god knows what happens there. This place is by far the most haunted and spooky hotel I’ve been to with its outdated decor, empty hallways, and its almost abandoned vibe
The location of the hotel which is on the hill so that we can see the beautiful city view. It's hard to reach the hotel without a car but the hotel has free shuttle bus between hotel and train station which run every 30 minutes. The staffs are good and willing to service.
Great location up on a hill with a great view of the city. A regular free shuttle bus will take you to Nagasaki Station. There is also a nice okonomiyaki restaurant just outside the hotel (but not much else).
If you don’t take a shuttle bus or have your own transport, the location might be inconvenient.
This hotel located on the hill, thus brekfast restaurant's view is superb. Spacious room & bathroom. Staffs are very nice, good serivce minded. Breafast is good.
It was spacious and clean, location was good near top of the scenic mountain
The road up the mountain can be a bit challenging for children
Good service, nice view and good break fast
Nice view of the city and the bay
Shuttle service to and from the city center was not frequent enough
Great view and great friendly staff
My only complaint was the beds are a little firmer than I prefer, but totally acceptable for the price.
Great View of Nagasaki Bay from the roomRestaurant at the hotel only for advance reservation but hotel provide shuttle bus to the city that you can find lot of good and verity of restaurants.
The facilities have room to be improved.Breakfast has room to be improved.
it is very near the slope car station and ropeway station for mount Inasayama. The night view from.hotel room was fantastic! Beautiful. There is shuttle bus to slopecar station and nagasaki station.
Not many dining options. need to travel out to eat dinner
big room clean the bus service from/to the Nagasaki City, Good breakfast Buffet
Views from the location were great
The entire hotel is rather dated inside and out. Getting a 2nd key for a twin room wasn't possible which created inconveniences. Our car key had to be kept at reception at all times which a bit uncomfortable and another inconvenience. After arriving around 11pm on a Friday night to discover all hotel facilities closed, wasn't even allowed to enjoy the view from the car park with a cigarette & beer - instead being ushered into an indoor aquarium-like room. The windows in the rooms have security metal mesh running thru the glass - not ideal for photos or general vibe
