Hotel Resol Sasebo

We asked for laundry. The clerk directed us to a laundromat 10 minutes away, uphill. I later realized there is a laundromat in the hotel. The clerk spoke English, too!

I always come here. It¿s great. Close to the water and they have a train station and many shopping areas around. cabs are right outside and the wifi isn¿t the worst.

The outlets to the wall. They are not American friendly but it is to be expected.

Only good thing about this hotel was location.

One of a guy on reception desk was screaming and yelling at me because of I used their parking ticket wrong way. He was pretty upset about it. SO RUDE☹️

Near Sasebo Station, easy to go to the attractive places. The staff is very nice and the breakfast is very good

Breakfast was a meal of your choice and the Sasebo burger they offer is pretty well done. Room is comfortable and adequate. The hotel location is quite close to the main station.

The carpark is in another building nearby, and although there is a bridge connecting it to the hotel building, it was a little troublesome to get the luggage over. The carpark was also a little too narrow.

Came to Sasebo for a 1 night trip. The hotel room, breakfast and location were perfect. The train station is across the street, and the bus station is on the ground floor! You can't get better than that. Mall, shopping and dining are all within walking distance.

Nothing really to complain about to be honest.

Location was extremely convenient, right above the train station and across from the Rail station, walking distance from attractions and shopping. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and considerate. Front desk staff mostly pleasant and professional but not very friendly or warm. My mom enjoyed the complimentary udon snack at 9pm, that was a very nice touch for guests and I enjoyed my view from my room

There was dust accumulated on the wall next to the device that housed the AC control, non working radio and clock as well as the room lights. It is an ancient device and takes up a lot of space in a very small room and the hotel should consider updating the room and get rid of it. I also didn't like that anyone could access any level of the hotel from the street as there is no one manning the first floor and they dont require a key card to enter or use the elevator

Nice hotel close to the train station and the Navy Base. The shopping and food center was a 5-10 walk. Breakfast was good. I thoroughly enjoyed both the experience and the smoothies.

The breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful and patient. The noodle service from 9 to 10 pm was excellent with a Japanese stock.

Seems anyone can use the elevator from ground level entrance to guest rooms level with no obvious security measures.

Great location; immediately opposite the JR/Matsuura Railway Station. Ideal if using Sasebo as a base for touring by train with Areta, Imari, Karatsu, Huis Ten Bosch and Nagasaki being easily accessible from there. There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby and if you cut through the station to the harbour area beyond, it is a pleasant walk of an evening to the restaurants, coffee shops and fast-food outlets located there.

Great location, just opposite train station.

The wall is very thin, could hear frequent walking sounds from neighbouring rooms. No aircon, have to open window.

Great location. Parking is a bit expensive, but considering it is right in the heart of the city, so cannot complain..

Parking is in another building. Bridge connecting the hotel is only on the 3rd floor. A bit inconvenient with many luggages.

I stayed at this hotel simply as it’s directly above the bus terminal. I got to the hotel late and needed to get out early, so for that it was an excellent choice. The hotel is cheap and you get what you pay for, though it was clean with an easy check in / out. Staff were flexible with my late check in.

Room was a little older looking, but again not much of complaint with the amount I paid for my in and out stop over.

1. convenient location. near jr station. if you drive a parking lot is next to the hotel and has direct access to the hotel through a footbridge, though it's not free.2. family mart just around the corner.3. staff polite and helpful.

1. the room is a bit small. the hotel in general seems a bit old.2. not many restaurants in the area. you may need a 10-minute walk to the main commercial area in sasebo.

Location near the bus and train stations is great.

Tiny rooms and definitely needing a remodel.

The location was on top of the bus station and only 1/2 block from the train station, and only a few blocks from the shopping arcade.

The beds were like sleeping on wood. The pillows were small and compressed a lot. The room size was typical for a Japanese lower end hotel. The bathroom was showing signs of aging with what looked like stick on tiles coming unglued.

The location was excellent.

No laundry, had to walk to a nearby laundry via a warren of back streets.
