Pros +
- Close to local trams, busses and the central train station. There was a mall close by with a good supermarket and food court.
- The hotel was in a great location and the facilities were good. The staff were also very nice and helpful. Also the price was very good compared to other hotels.
- Overall, a nice APA hotel, currently undergoing renovation as it is a bit older. Staff friendly as always, rooms functional and clean. Windows were not completely closed, so a bit noisy at night.
Cons -
- External renos affected view, but the price was very low perhaps as a result. Great value for money.
- Like all APA hotels, this hotel had a 3 day cleaning rota. So the room is only cleaned/bed made etc. every 3rd day. In between this time, you receive a bag with a fresh towel, toilet rolls and other things you may need during you stay.My main issue with the 3 day cleaning rota was that the carpet didn't look that clean when I arrived. This could have been because it was a black carpet and showed dust etc. But if parts of the room doesn't look that clean to begin with, waiting 3 days for it to be cleaned, seems a long time.If it wasn't for this, the 3-day cleaning rota would work (although I do like my bed being made professionally.....its one of the perks of staying in a hotel, I think). Please note: I would stay here again, because the rest of the room and the facilities were good and great value for money. But I have stayed in other APA hotels, with the similar trademark black carpets and I know they can look very clean, even after 3 days between cleaning. So I am comparing my experience against other APA hotels I have stayed in other the years.
- kind of small room

everything clean, nice and neat.less than 10 mins walk to nagasaki station.
kind of small room
AC is a bother
The AC vents were pretty dirty and there was some slight mold in the bathroom. Sadly, the AC switch was broken, so it took a long time to adjust the strenght. The AC is centrally regulated, so you cannot change the temperature.
Good location; <10-min walk from Nagasaki Station and close by a tram stop (Ohato). Plenty of pillows supplied, which satisfied my need to elevate my head when sleeping.
I found the mattress too soft for my liking.
Very fast check-in. Personnal helpfull for the city question. Laundry easy to access.
Even with dryer, cloth have difficilty to dry.
Good location, old city near, bus station two minutes away from hotel. Main Nagasaki station is 10 minutes walk away.Hotel is simple and comfortable as all from APA network. Same level of service - fresh yukata and towels everyday.
Room is a little bit outdated, bathroom is seems old enough.
Very comfortable bed, room is the perfect size for a solo traveller.
The television turns on every time you enter the room, which became a little annoying.
Perfect location, exceptionally comfortable bed, wide range of facilities (including a yukata to wear in your room). You can literally come here empty handed because everything is provided.
It wasn't too clean. There were hairs all over the place, even on the bedding somehow.
the location was excellent. I got to see a parade right outside the door and it was also located next to a restaurant that had really great food. It is only a block away from the streetcar system that is very easy to use. It is also centrally located to all of the main tourist attractions.
I had nothing to complain about. the room is small but I was expecting that going in so it did not surprise me at all. The decor in the room is also super modern.
It was close to a mall and also the port. And close walking distance to most places to visit. Room was also clean and tidy upon check in. Good for solo travellers. There's also a few food places around and convenience stores nearby.
Room is a little small, not really enough space to fully open my luggage. But can make do with it as I was travelling alone.
Disappointing
The hotel is very dark. And I left a msg to NOT assign a room at the end of the hallway and out of all thr rooms they have, they gave me one at the end of the hallway. We asked to leave our luggage for an hr when we checked out, we have to filled out a form with all our info. Why make things complicated. It's just a simple gesture!!
Small room, but big enough for sleeping. It was hard to store the laguage.
Personal at reception does not speak english at all
We were riding our bikes and were happy to see bicycle parking right next to the hotel. The hotel was perfectly situated near Youme Town, so dinner was sorted, and the usual walking distance for everything else. A great bakery is right behind the hotel too.
I wish i picked a non smoking room - this was my fault though, i didn't pay too much attention to the room type when booking. But the hotel was perfect. One of my group cut himself during the night and made a mess of the sheets - the hotel staff did not skip a beat in helping me deal with it.
Video channel were freeBread and caffe for breakfast were free
Toilet shower was broken
Well equipped and very clean. convenient for 1 person.
The room was extremely small, only fit for 1 person with a carry on, 2 people with standard luggage (medium size) do not fit in the room. There's no space, simple as that. There's nowhere to put the luggage, no room for clothes, the bed is stuck'ed to 3 walls so you will end up having to jump through your partner just to get out of bed. Not good.
The location was great - 2 minute walk from the Port of Nagasaki and fairly close to the station.
The room was very small and cramped for two people despite it being a double room.
Great location! Right on the wharf, heaps of food options and shopping a short walk away. Train station close also, same as tram.
price and cleanliness.
Unpleasant smell in the bathroom.
