The Westin Nanjing Xuanwu Lake

The room was great, and the view was spectacular. The location was also good, the metro station only a short walk away. The Xuanwu Lake touristic area is 10 mins walk, and nice for sightseeing. The city walls, some of the templeas are also accessible easily.

The staff don't speak good English, and some of the facilities are definitely not 5 star. I will consider this hotel 4 star, given the price.

Peaceful stay. Surrounding area. Cooperative staff.

Breakfast options could be better

The room is exequisite, spacious, polished and clean

Find it a bit difficult at the beginning to make food order by the bar code but was able to get it right later on. Hotel should look at the option of placing order via telephone or other suitable means

Amazing buffet breakfast; spacious and clean room; comfortable bed; great location close to everything.

Car park is bit crowded.

Outstanding facilities, nice location by the lake

Booking at their desk was cheaper :(

Good value overall

The pillows were too high for us. But they have lower ones upon request. They note your request from previous stay which is very nice touch. The room was a bit outdated. One of the tile of the tub was off and movable in the bathroom. Which could be a safety concern.

The room is spacious. Good view of the lake

The sewage was choked on my first night. Got a replacement room pretty fast.

5 star service, clean, comfortable and convenient location

Nil

Breakfast is goodGreat location connected to an improved mallNice swimming poolCleaning staff very friendly and they clean well

I stayed in this hotel frequently about 10 years ago.Overall quality decreased:Floor in the room and the bath tub shows some small damagesTap not well fixed on the sinkCabinet did not clsoe wellRoof of the swimming pool has severe damageIf you look at the hotel in the details it needs an upgrade

the room, the service. the staff's attitude and ease of asking to reserve taxi to get to where I needed in the city.excellent location attached to mall with plenty of food.lake view and xuanwu lake park access.

the booking was cancelled prior to arrival leaving the staff at lobby confused during check in but they upgraded my room in the end to resolve the issue and reassured me that I had a place to stay even with the fully booked status of the hotel.

I liked the pool, the lake view, the breakfast

Spacious, clean and near train station

Location is very convenient and the value for money is good

Business centre is no accessible to all which makes printing difficult

Very good location, nice view. We can see lake view and city view from the room. The hotel upgraded our room. The cleaner serviced on level 34 is very good. She made the room so clean and tidy.

View, location and breakfast were great

The facilities (swimming/gym) are long walk through several corridors

it’s near nature and city amenities. it’s really quiet inside room. clean bathtub. swimming pool. excellent restaurant. helpful staff

there’s no room service. would’ve liked to order a snack or meal after meal hours lounge bar had no service after 11 on a holiday weekend. no server there when I went. lake view was partial.

very polite and helpful staff, nice room, good lake view, big breakfast buffet, playground area for kids at breakfast area!

the fountain in the lobby looks really nice but it is a bit too noisy, was difficult to understand the staff at check-in.

I was very upset with this hotel , a big let down for something that was supposedly a 5 star hotel. The hotel is sub-par compared to its competitions hotels of the same star class within the same location .. I have stayed in different hotels in Nanjing recently

The property is not a five star property .. the level of service , and available amenities are not 5 star. The hotel rooms are ok , but the facilities like gym / sauna / bar needs a make over * I wanted to get a refund and book a different hotel for my second nights stay, but that was not possible* The property is also sub-par compared the other Westin brand hotels i have stay in around the world

Good location near the underground. Friendly staff and great breakfast.

The so called lake view is actually for viewing a small corner of the lake. I guess only the suites can give better view of it.
