Hilton Wuhan Riverside

The staff are all wonderful, the front desk always had someone who could function in English and if you called from your room they would put you on hold and get that person. The breakfast buffet had so many options that anyone could eat there no matter what your taste may be and it's open all day long, transitioning to lunch and dinner. The swimming pool was almost too nice. A beautiful facility with helpful staff, bring a swim cap. Beautiful views from the rooms facing the river and dinning room.

The room was worn and tired looking, old fashioned and a little beat. The lobby has a beautiful area which you would expect you could sit in, but in this space that can hold 100 people they come and kick you out if you do not order a drink from the bar. The lobby they send you to is small, dark and not enough seating and overrun with a business convention setup. At the most they will have one couple in the big, front and center grand lobby, they apparently bought a drink, which is not something you want to do when waiting for a taxi to arrive. They have a second restaurant with a Chinese menu, a little expensive but the main drawback is the dining room is like an afterthought, in a stale partitioned room with no windows. Off putting enough for us to leave.

we were not happy with our room, window too small so the hotel gave us a room with breadth taking views on a higher floor.Too many choices for buffet breakfast. yumm

air conditioning is not adjustable even though a control panel is available. Room temperate set at 27C. The only way to cool the room is to open a window and turn the heating off.

The room view is super seeing the Yangzi river, which is beautiful at night to see tourist boats and the lightings. The Yellow Crane Tower is light up in the evening till 10:00pm. The 360 dinning is great too.

Swimming pool water is too cold, and the hot spa pool water is not warm.

Bad customer services

Been requesting Tax Invoices for weeks but until now unable to get. Sending message to them via booking.com few time and emailed to them, but then no response at all. Please improve your customer service. It's so rude that we been requesting for so many times and no one even responded us.

Everything! comfy beds, nice breakfast. All the staff was really kind and helpful!

The hotel is in the Hanyang District, less than 1 KM from metro stations and near to Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge andYingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, which makes it easy to access while providing great river view of Yangtze, you could go to the Hanyang Yangtze River beach and start a river cruise. Besides the great location the hotel staffs provide professional and heartwarming services, I would like to express my special thanks to Front office teams, who helped me a lot beyond my expectations, not only they provided welcome services, but also offered one-to-one follow up and support throughout my stay, constantly checking up my requirement and satisfaction of the services, even helped my friend who I recommended to stay here to get a better room type as he wishes. The hotel offers good facilities and services even in the quarantine time. They had exhaustive disinfectation for both rooms and public areas, providing masks and alcoholic hand sanitizer. The executive floors' service is better than the experience I had in another hotel that offer executive member in-room selected services. I’ve heard that the swimming pool in this hotel was great and artistic, but did not have chance to experience that this time since I did not take with swim wears, hope I could stay here again and I would definitely recommend to others (which I’ve done in this very first stay).
