Fairfield by Marriott Xi'an North Station

Location is 900 m from the subway station and 1,5 km from the Highspeed train station. However the train station is close, you are unable walk them because of the highway and construction area around.Room was clean a nice, the breakfast was very good, Chinese and western food.

The view from the 31st floor was pretty cool and the room was very spacious.

One reason we booked was because it said the staff knew english, which they didn't. They knew very basic lines that were only related to checking into a hotel. The room was also very mouldy, the shower seat was almost collapsing from water damage. There were dead bugs everywhere. It was honestly so disgusting that i didn't want to shower. There was also only a tiny amount of toilet paper provided with no extras. The breakfast was super disappointing, everything was kind of stale and funky and I didn't try anything crazy.

The location is fairly close to the North train station. There is 24hrs reception. You can check-in even if you arrive late in the midnight.

There was trace of cigarette smell in the room although it was a no-smoking room.

Huge room! Good value for money. Take a taxi, don’t bother with public transport.

Staff speaks very basic english (some of them not at all). Air condition didn't function, but they informed us only as we complained. We got then another room.

The room was really spacious and clean. I had a good night sleep in a comfortable bed with nice bedsheets. The staff was really helpful.

The hotel is without air-condition. Its out first time come across 5 star hotelwithout air-condition function. The housekeeper is lazy and rude.

The rooms are spacious, good food, good service. Walking distance from Xi’an North Station. 40mins from the Terracota warriors.

Hotel doesn’t show on Apple Maps, Google maps, AliPay,DiDi nothing ! First taxi dropped us a mile away. So getting to this hotel is not easy. Hotel need to fix this.Hotel lobby like a construction site at 7pm with guys building giant signs - this should be left for night shift. Like an obstacle course to get to reception desk. To find out the staff have zero English ! Not what you expect booking a Marriott !Then only 2 out of the 8 elevators are actually for hotel rooms. I had a great stay at the Marriott. The room was very spacious and well-maintained, with excellent cleaning services. The staff noticed that I had drunk a lot of tea, so they started providing extra water and even brought me some special varieties of tea, which was a nice touch. The hotel offers complimentary self-service laundry, which is very convenient.The location is also a plus, being relatively close to the metro and the northern train station. It’s about a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport. Additionally, we were allowed to check in early, which made our stay even more comfortable.

The only drawback was the lack of communication through Booking.com. I reached out to the hotel a few times via the platform, but unfortunately, I didn’t receive any responses.

WE HAD TO USE THIS HOTEL BECAUSE IT IS NEER THE TRAIN STATION , SO IF YOU ARE CACHING UP AN EARLY TRAIN THIS IS THE PERFECT HOTEL , 10 MINUTES FROM THE NORTH TRAIN STATION, IT IS COMFORTABLE , HIGH FLOR , NICE WINDOW VIEW

All of it! The lobby, lifts and room were fantastic. The room was humongous! Great bathroom too. Beds were comfortable and the tv worked. Staff were friendly and helpful.
