Location was good and a calm zone

Location was great for our purposes. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was good and convenient.

You had the option of paying a reasonable fee for parking in the property or free on the street. Breakfast was awesome! Lots of choices, fresh fruits, etc. Very very good. Staff was nice and helpful. Room service good was also very good. Bed was comfortable (good mattress). Shower was good (good water pressure, good heat). The place was clean.

We couldn’t figure out the TV, but other than that, it was ok.

Really good hotel, with a great team! Only reason for a 4-star review, no irons in the rooms and you can’t request one. But you can pay for an ironing service - first hotel in the world I’ve known this happen. Minor point, but easily fixed! I hope you guys read this…you deserve a 5-star review!

Hotel has a good location. The staff are very polite and helpful. Breakfast is very good and the staff offers additional services for guests. The neighborhood is also nice.

Room and bathroom are relatively old. Desk for notebook could also be improved for work.

Nice location, friendly staff, very very clean and organized, wonderful breakfast (they had the extra touch of bringing warm “pão de queijo” to our table). The hotel may be old, but is very well maintained, beautiful and comfortable.

There was some kind of issue with the shower (too little water).

The hotel is simple but clean and nice. What definitely stood out was the staff. I don't think any 5 star hotel in the world offers the same service as we experienced in this hotel. Every detail was thought of - from friendliness, ready to help, parking the car, getting it ready, serving breakfast, picking one up with an umbrella when it rains, always waiting by the door for guests to arrive and being very nice and corteous. Breakfast was also very nice, they bring you omelette and tapioca as well as coffee and tea pots and pão de queijo to your table, apart from the buffet!

The hotel is due a renovation. Facilities are quite old (but very clean!!)
