We cannot speak Chinese but the staff were ALWAYS helpful and always tried to help us and answer our questions.The friendly good morning from the cleaning lady on our floor was our highlight.

Location, shuttle to airport, new facility

Steam room (temp is too low, which can not be utilized).

Stayed 5 nights. The gym is very well equipped. Also has an indoor pool. I really enjoyed the facilities. Room was big, clean and loved the cove lighting for bed time. Super well designed to lit the space just that slight tinge when you are sleeping so that you are able to see your way to the washroom but yet dark enough for a good night's rest. It is beside a mall that has most essentials and a supermarket. It is not as large as other shopping malls but adequate. Also has a myriad of food stalls / restaurants just 1 minute walk away. The housekeeping staff even took the initiative to provide us extra mineral water at night when she delivered a pillow as we did not ask for the room to be cleaned that morning. The counter staff helped us to order food delivery as we did not own a Chinese mobile number.

There was some construction going on that was not within the building (likely buildings nearby) and this affected sleep on a Sunday morning.

Request a non-smoking room and floor. However, whole room has a cigarette smell even the bedding

The Kempinski Hotel in Fuzhou is a very comfortable nice stay when travelling around China. It is well located to train station and getting anywhere in Fuzhou is handy enough. It does a good breakfast and freshly cooked omelets which aren’t always available in other hotels. I’ll definitely stay again next time in Fuzhou

The location is close to the subway station. The hotel is just next to the famous East Tahoe Plaza, and there are various restaurants and street food vendors around. The front desk staffs are friendly and professional, especially Shirley, she gave us a warm welcome and thoughtful arrangement for the hotel room. Xiao Yan who serves as a host for afternoon tea time area, she made us a delightful tea time. The hotel room clean crew are doing excellent job.

The floor area at front door of the hotel looks there are many spot stains on the concrete floor.

Facilities are new with steam and sauna available

The pillows are soft , blanket are too thick for the weather .The 1 way / 2 way glass mirror is interesting but unless you dark out the whole room at night it is too bright to sleep when you have a night lamp switched on.I think I smelt cigarette smoke at common floor which I stayed (level 15)

front desk reception trainee, not train well.although main receptionist working. he can look at us tell us pls wait.he has nothing to do, head was down for few mins and not say hi to us while we are waitimg.

The experience was terrible!

1. The hotel‘s front-desk clerks are very unfriendly. When I checking in, I said I wanted to book at booking.com. The front desk customer service showed a disdainful expression and said it would take a while longer, even joking with colleagues. 2. The order reservation interface displays breakfast included, but after the order is confirmed, it has changed to no breakfast included. I am not sure if this is a problem with booking.com or the hotel. 3. The most uncomfortable and emotional impact of a day is also due to breakfast. When I entered the breakfast restaurant and started eating, customer service came over to tell me that your order did not include breakfast. After a while, another customer service came over to tell me that your order did not include breakfast. Are you sure you want to continue eating breakfast! It's really impolite and impolite. I've lost all my mood for a day. Is this still the etiquette that a 5-star luxury hotel should have?

It's spacious and comfy. Nice city view.

Could not get cold bottled water for breakfast.

Very friendly helpful staff. Rooms are clean and good quality. Close to shopping precinct.

Dinner was great, buffet style. Staff was always top notch. Food great and fresh, especially the seafood!

An absolutely phenomenol stay for our first anniversary. We were treated like Fuzhou royalty and the duty manager was always asking if there was anything else he could so. He really exceeded his duties and delivered on providing a memorable first anniversary! We will definitely stay again. The room was huge and so comfortable! The buffet was delicious! We send our heartfelt thanks to the Kempinkski and its staff for a truly special visit!
