The Radisson Blue is an international hotel so at least the staff should know how to speak English . The communication was a bit difficult.

Only entrance area have a lot teenage blocked to enter the hotel. So when we call taxi they will pick up outside

Didn't like that they charge a deposit of 820 CNY, which I didn't accept it, because on the website they wrote that charge maximum 500 CNY. So be carefull on this

Older 5* hotel, but room on higher floor as advantage, good choice of breakfast, metro station is close (around 5 min walking), nice and polite staff

The staff are all quite helpful and friendly, although some refused to deliver our take away and we have to go downstairs to pick things up.

Disappointing Stay at a Supposed 5-Star Hotel My recent stay at this hotel fell far short of the standards expected of a 5-star establishment. Below are the critical issues that marred our experience: 1. Outdated Facilities: The hotel’s decor is visibly dated, with furnishings and interiors showing significant wear. It’s evident that renovations have been neglected for years, which detracts from the ambiance and comfort promised by a luxury property. 2. Hygiene Concerns: Upon arrival, we discovered one of the hand towels in our room was heavily soiled, raising serious questions about housekeeping standards. This unsettling experience forced us to purchase disposable towels for the remainder of our stay—an inconvenience that should never occur at a hotel of this caliber. 3. Shockingly Unwelcoming Lobby Policy: The most egregious issue was the hotel’s lack of a proper lobby seating area for guests. While there is seating in the bar, it is strictly reserved for paying customers. During a brief 20-second wait for my family (who were in the adjoining shop), a staff member abruptly demanded I either order overpriced drinks or vacate the area -- there isn't a soul there other than myself. As a paying hotel guest, I was appalled by this inflexibility and lack of basic hospitality. In decades of staying at hotels worldwide, I’ve never encountered such a dismissive attitude toward guests seeking a momentary place to sit. While I initially considered a 3-star rating for the dated facilities and hygiene lapses, the hostile lobby policy alone warrants deducting two additional points. A 5-star hotel should prioritize guest comfort and dignity—this establishment failed on both fronts. I cannot recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to both amenities and staff training.

Excellent hotel. Beautiful room. Abby the hotel manager has been great supporting us with a small issue during our stay ! And she speaks very good English, quite rare in Chongqing !

Strategic location. Confirm very safe, it is next to the police station. The view was great facing the river.

Staff were amazing. Ms Su （苏） was kind enough to upgrade our room to a suite. Suite was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Hard to tell about what i like

The room lighting is dark for me.The air ventilation is bad even switch on the A/C and open the windows. For us the room is warm (even outside is 8 degrees celsius

Clean rooms, nice view, good breakfast, nice staff, nice swimming pool, good value for money.

A luxurious experience! We were accommodated in a suite room on the 36th floor with a view of the city and the Yangtze River. Definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

They have sauna, pool and all looks normal clean. Room are basic and a little smoke smell

I specifically asked for non smoking room but somehow my room still smells smoke. After I reported to the front desk, they immediately upgraded me free of charge. Very good breakfast with lots of choices.

Beautiful hotel with very nice and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is also of high quality and very diverse.

The check-in staff was correct, but not really friendly. We were originally assigned a room with separate beds and no view on the river, while we had booked a king-size bed with view on the river. However, no question asked when we requested to change room. The check-out staff was very friendly, though.

The room we booked was very spacious. We had a high floor (35) river view which was beautiful at night. The bathroom was huge and the water had very good pressure and temperature. The room was very quiet and amenities overall were very good.

I wanted to use the business center to do some work however, there was a conference center booked during this time, so I wasn't able to use this facility.
