InterContinental Kunming By IHG

The food at breakfast was very good and lots of selection. The staff was very helpful for any need or request. If your in Kunming I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful and convenient

Food is bad and expensive

As a tourist, the location is wonderful as the proximity to Dianchi Lake makes the experience exhilarating. The hotel had staff that took all effort to accommodate our needs at the hotel. The breakfast was good and met expectations of all choices. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Excellent property with luxurious landscape, professional staff, excellent food selection and arrangement, a place to relax and enjoy nature.

Nice Jacarandas tree in bloom during our stay

Air con not working, TV not working, hair and dusk in the room. Too many external person come just to take photo inside hotel facilities

It was fabulous and a lovely place to relax for a couple of nights after travelling all over Yunnan Province

I knew it wasn’t near the centre of Kunming. It is like an oasis so if you want to kick back and stay on sight it’s perfect if you want to get a buzz of real Kunming stay in the centre. We did both

The staffs are helpful friendly and always offer help when requested. They are well trained with highly etiquette. Few worth mentioning occasions are a concierge staff offer to drive me near to the lake where I wanted to go baggie and show me the hotel surrounding. Gardening staff politely wait for guests to walk past them before carry on their jobs. Staff try their best to extend for me a late check out where by flight is at mid-night. A management staff offer to bring me to the correct lobby lift and more. Overall a very pleasant experience. Thank you and will come again as along as you maintain your high standard service and pricing.

Hotel room is spacious & clean, quiet .Friendly & helpful staff.

We had buffet dinner at the hotel, some of the dishes were emptied at 715 pm and was not replenished, reason given was there was a 100 day baby shower held at the restaurant. The barbecue chicken were not cooked thoroughly .

First service super ???excellent ????The staff very helpful, friendly, room very large amenities perfect I love this property ( Intercontinental Kunming )For sure l will coming back again

No have

The hotel is beautiful and the accommodations were luxurious. We liked the buffet dining room that had a wide selection of Asian and western food.

Great value. Beautiful lobby, rooms and bar area. Love the market with both Asian and Western selections

No complaints.

Staff are friendly and helpful with everything. Special mention to manager 李建林 for going the extra mile to help us with booking of day tour to stone forest and jiuxiang cave! ???

Overall my recent stay at Intercontinental Kuming is with absolute satisfactory. Especially I was very happy for the assistance by the Concierge te4am. Mr Smulin was very helpful to me such as buying new air tickets to other city of China and further amendments as well as arrangement for my airport transfer. He was always very active with quick responses, willing to help and did his best. If I was asked, I would give him and his concierge team at Intercontinental Kuming the full score 10 out of 10. Best regards, Mya Han.

Beautiful rooms

More staff. Luke have spoken English

Huge selection but lacking in taste. Price does not match the food served. We thought we would have tasty food but were disappointed.

Staff could have been better. Staff at the Japanese section of the buffet was great but not the staff at breakfast behind the counters, they need more training in terms of service. Staff on the floor were attentive.

Spacious room, good breakfast buffet, excellent customer service .

Very long walking distance between front entrance and room and restaurants.

New, modern, spacious.

Long walk to the room from reception. Could have been solved with elevators on each block, or at least elevators in another block to avoid a long walk around. It’s a minor point, but noticeable.

The pool and spa are nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent! The room is beautifully designed. But the see-through bathroom made it challenging for the roommates to keep privacy.

The facility is huge and we got lost when trying to check in. It's nice to have live music in the evening but people smoked there. This made the experience unpleasant.

Very spacious, well landscaped & huge grounds

Very poor selection of wines. The singing in the bar was way too Western & noisy. Not very relaxing.

The facility n gardening.

Cleaningness can do better. Two washing basins in room would be perfect.
