Grand Park Kunming Hotel

Location. Room was clean and remodeled.

The staff asked me to pay the room although I have paid on line. I told them that I paid and shown the receipt. The staff finally took my explanation. There were smoking everywhere. The food smell goes the room and hall way during the dinner time

Free breakfast buffet. The head chef made hot chocolate for us every morning she saw me.

Slight mold on the sink under the faucet was not addressed completely. The toilet paper roll location is very inconvenient. For the toilet paper I'd recommend a stand or partition at the side of the toilet, not behind it.

Beautiful property! Clean room and nice staff.

Bathroom door made it hard to reach toilet paper. Closet smelled bad.

Very nice hotel, very good breakfast (mainly Chinese, but also Western options). Very friendly staff, exceptional location at nice intown lake.

Everything was fine

Minutes away from Green Lake, and great for city walk to the university, parks and markets.

Located near the city centre, near the lake, in a quiet place. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is friendly, ready to help in solving any questions of guests. Excellent breakfasts with Western and Chinese cuisine.

The hotel is wonderful: great location, spacious de Luxe room with beautiful view. We really enjoyed the evening buffet. The choices of freshly prepared delicacies was breathtaking, be it fish, seafood, Chinese specialties and a great selection of pastries. We also enjoyed the friendly stuff. We will certainly be back.

very comfortable and clean for a good price

Clean and very spacious. Extensive breakfast The first two nights we had a club room which was quite ok.Last night we had an executive room, which was very spacious (80m). The living room part however was poorly decorated, as was the little kitchen area.

The staff at the hotel were professional and courteous. They were helpful in explaining the bill and how booking.com confirmation email worked. It was different for each hotel e.g. how the service charge, taxes were displayed -sometimes they are and sometimes they aren’t. Great hotel support for tours and information about what to see in Kunming. The best was the restaurant. A great manager. Very personable. The restaurant was bright and well organized. Great service. The breakfast food was amazing. So much choice - fresh watermelon, orange, kale, grapefruit juices,. Super pastries. Omelettes, congee, duck and so much more. The price was very reasonable. Also had a great seafood dinner buffet… prawns… crab. The restaurant and hotel location were top. Amazing restaurant manager.

The bathroom was a bit older, no fan or modern touches. The lobby and parking entrance are a bit run down.

Almost everything including the friendly and helpful staff and the incredible breakfasts and evening buffets.

A v small point but we felt the top/21st floor was wasted as a gymnasium (which appeared little used). It would make a wonderful bar with its stunning 360 degree view over the city

Great location. Nice rooms. Good buffet breakfast.

Swimming pool is closed over the winter.

Great breakfast, good location, although you have to walk a bit to the metro station. I had a quiet room on the upper floors, really enjoyed it and thought it was good value for money.

The free Wifi provided was at times very slow, also when not using VPN.

The property was located in a quiet area. There were complementary fruits and nougat provided to us. Staff were friendly and accommodated our check-in at midnight. Room was clean and spacious.

Near the city center and 15 minutes walk to the subway station PanJiaWan

The air conditioning is not working well, just blowing ambient temperature air

My friend lost his mobile in a taxi while on the way to airport . The staff is extremely helpful , go through the cctv to locate the driver , contact the driver & help to pay the driver on behalf of us. We are extremely impressed by the staff’s efficiency and customer service . We are grateful and look forward to stay with you in our future trip.

The room is a big and comfort for two. Great location, close to the green lake and tonnes of places to eat and shops. The gym which is well equipped has a 360 view of the area including the lake. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would stay here again

The internet was slow.

Room sizeable with fresh fruit player and nougets given. The reception was relatively helpful and provide 2 pieces of breads for seagull feeding. Within walking distance to the green lake. .

Though hotel location is relative accessible to eateries and lake, it is still not strategically located to the shopping malls and shopping streets. It is still a good 15-20 mins walk.

Breakfast was great. Location perfect.

They added a 15% service charge component which was not included in the Booking.com total charge.

Great location and excellent breakfast. The front desk staff, Wang Qian was extremely helpful to book our onward train tickets to the next destination online without having to go to the railway station.
