Holiday Inn Express Kunming Panlong By IHG

location, breakfast, comfort of the room, relatively new hotel

I was given a "corner like" room which the same bathroom had both the shower and WC next to each other. This make the WC wet , slippery and you had to squeeze yourself to 1 corner to allow the door to open and get out of the bathroom. Told the staff that some serious safety concern needs to be look into. Otherwise , love this hotel.

Hotel is clean and relatively new. Staffs were courteous and helpful. I had unaccounted Taobao item deliveries. They took effort to trace and recover back for me,

Great, spacious rooms. Good showers. Helpful staff and a decent breakfast.

Beds were quite hard.

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. While it was a smaller hotel than a full fledged Holiday Inn. The breakfast, staff and the place was exceptional.

None that I can think of.

1- Great staff 2- clean 3- quite 4- very good breakfast 5- 11 minutes walk from line 3 subway

1- view of the back side of a dirty old building :(2- no shopping malls around you, have to take a transportation3- kind of expensive after adding large amount of taxes and service fees

Good breakfast, big room, nice staff. Very near to the airport. Robot to send ordered meals to room.

Can’t control the room air conditioner. Takes very long to increase the temperature. Room is a bit cool.

It’s a nice tidy hotel, staffs are helpful.

Breakfast should have some western food

Cleanliness

The staff were not helpful, can not speak English, Breakfast menu was very limited for foreigners.

The beds were really comfortable.

Staff were not smiling or friendly. The major reason for such a low score is there was no hot water in the bathroom. In the end they gave me a key to a different room to take a shower there but that too had no hot water ! Very frustrating they weren’t bothered to check first . Also no bathrobes so not great for room hopping for the shower ! Eventually a technician came and fixed the issue . But , we had the exact same issue next morning .

New hotel, bed is very comfortable, breakfast is nice

Location not so convenient

New hotel. Clean room. 500m from metro main line.

Staff cannot speak English.

The breakfast was good.

There was wifi. But I could not use my WhatsApp.

The breakfast was good but lacked as many options as their central hotel for Home Inn. It is a nice attempt at the price. The rooms were large & comfortable with great air con. They also had a good laundry room for free. Lovely view over Kunming from the room. I saw a really low review and it is just extremely unfair, This is a good hotel to stay in Kunming, and not so pricey. I have lived in Kunming for several years and this is a great option at 45 GBP a night with breakfast and good service. It is a solid 8.

Needs a gym as the other branches of the Home Inn have. Poor surrounding location but you can get a taxi or rise your e-bike to the centre in a few km. The manager was the only staff member to speak English but coped with most issues.

Very Cooperative staff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am really thankful to you for your good cooperation and guidelines !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
