Holiday Inn Kunming City Centre By IHG

Location

The room is small. The bed skirts are stained, quite gross.

location, staff.

rooms were noisy. one can hear traffic noise from window at 20th floor. recommend better sound proofing. room carpet was not clean. on complaining, hotel shifted us to new rooms which were good and clean. breakfast may have more vegetarian items.

We were upgraded to a more spacious room. The staff were kind and polite. Location of this hotel is fantastic.

The air-conditioning was centralized and we could not adjust the temperature. The room conditioning was set to 30 degree Celsius which was pretty hot. We had to turn the air-conditioning off in the middle of the night, as we started sweating. Checked with the reception but was told that it was centralized and they could not do anything about it.

Clean, safe, great bed, lovely bathrooms. The staff were kind, thoughtful, very friendly and extremely accommodating. I was upgraded to larger room and was delighted. The breakfast was abundant and delicious.

Very grateful they upgrade my room to king suites, hotel room very spacious with the living room and room is very clean. Staffs are very friendly.

Hotel room is clean, front desk very friendly. Easy access to Subway station.

The rooms were cleaned and up to the high standards. The welcome was warm, the staff at the reception were always helpful. The iced tea in the reception area was awesome and always available. The location was very convenient, shopping malls and restaurants at walking distance.

Nothing. Everything was fine according to our expectations.

Center of the city and around good transportation system.

Hotel staffs are very welcoming and kindly upgraded our room. The suite room is spacious and comfortable to stay in, we slept really well during the stay. The hotel location is right in the city center, there is a major shopping mall and many good restaurants within walking distance. It is very convenient to get to sight seeing places and the high speed train station. PS: they also have a good breakfast buffet selection.

Comfortable bed.Clean room.

Not much English

Staff on duty night of 4 May and Day of 5 May are very helpful. They suggest where to eat where to shop and direction. Good location with comfort and convenience in reasonable price

Rooms were big and great. Staff service was awesome, especially Kenny.

Excellent location. Wonderful breakfast. Friendly and helpful reception staff. My original room booking was upgraded - and truly very quiet as requested. Thank you Mrs. Chris Xu!

New tea kettle is required! Curtains need attention.

Loved the room, it was spacious, clean, comfortable, well thought out. Wifi was strong, bathrooms were very clean, bed and pillows were super comfortable, close to Kunming Train Station and Kunming International Airport. The staff were friendly, and very helpful. My favourite part was the working and living room space in the suite, it worked perfectly for my trip.

Room service took a long time if you did not order their set meal options. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel property for your next stay in Kunming.

Room size and location

Communication with staff using English was under expectation. Room was full of dust and air conditioning was not cold.

The location, the cleanliness, the staff.

Modern and comfortable. Near center of city. Convenient location.

Shower head is too close to the wall.

Staff were always very helpful and friendly at the reception - giving advise on sights, arranging taxis for us and writing down the chinese characters for our sights.

The hotel staff were great. Had an upgrade to a suite which is very nice. Breakfast spread is excellent with lots of choice and all very tasty. The staff were all great and a special mentioned to Kitty where she was very apologetic about some minor issues that I mentioned. She is so kind and appreciate our stay in the hotel.excellent work!!Just minor issue with the air conditioning that wasn’t cold enough

Lovely hotel in the heart of Kunming city , easy acces by foot or metro just a few minutes away. Also the staff was very kind and attentive and English speaking .Highly recommend this Hotel
