Saraca Hotel Lucknow

Just the most beautiful place. Tastefully decorated and wonderful service from the staff. We ordered an extra bed but there was confusion and it didn't get added, so they gave it complimentary The bar is very nice and chill with a Sunday jazz singer. Breakfast is excellent and generous

The only complaint is that because it often has private events, so you may find the restaurant or bar is not available which can be frustrating after a long days sightseeing

Beautiful heritage property in Mall Avenue. Centrally located, which is very useful given gridlock traffic. Service and food are excellent and set it apart from the competition. A special shout out to the Head of Housekeeping, Ankur Verma, and the General Manager, Mr Anand, who made the stay so memorable.

The only saving grace of our stay was the warm and helpful attitude of the hotel staff other than the front desk — housekeeping and other service staff really did their best within the circumstances.Unfortunately, the misleading room descriptions, poor quality food and beverages, and lack of accountability make it very hard for me to recommend Saraca Hotel to anyone.

We booked and paid for The Residency Room via Booking.com, expecting the dimensions and amenities shown online. Unfortunately, the actual room was nowhere near the size advertised. When we raised the issue, the front desk simply told us that “each room is different” and there was nothing they could do — which felt like a complete scam.To make matters worse, several in-room amenities were broken. The room service food was bland and tasteless, and the drinks were essentially sugar water with no alcohol in them, despite being listed as cocktails.

it was clean. I liked that they had a gym. The front desk was very helpful. They had a restaurant and small shop on site. I would stay here again.

Water temperature in the shower was lukewarm

The breakfast lacked the Lucknow flavor. It seems unimaginative. From 2029 till date- the quality of food has fallen. As a Lucknowite a khasta meant a khasta and a puri meant a puri- there was no concept of kahsta puri!We never have paneer with Puri- it is always aloo. Idli's were terrible.

I liked nothing - except the salted lassi. In two days I changed 3 rooms- each one worse than the other. The first room was okay in size- but was like at a railway platform. 112. Then the toilet was stinking- so were shifted to 122 which was as tiny as a doll house. Where there was barely any place to open two suitcases or keep a tea mug, then we were sent to 207 which was a large room with stains on the sofa seats, and one AC that refused to work. At 1 am we had to shift the bed under the AC to sleep. The toilet was again stinking. You need to sort out the sewage problem,

We had a great time at Saraca. The staff especially Abdullah and Saumya were very attentive and thoughtful.

Lovely old property but poorly renovated and maintained. Staff is untrained and service is nonexistent though the cuisine served at the restaurant was excellent.

The car that we requested to meet us at the airport did not show up.

This is a lovely heritage hotel with a calm peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are nice & the house staff are great. The breakfast is fantastic & dining staff are very helpful & friendly. We had dinner there which was excellent. There is a nice rooftop bar.

The rooms can sometimes smell a bit musty. The pool was closed for maintenance & the garden was taken over by a huge marquee for an upcoming wedding so there was nowhere to sit outside. We tried to book direct with Divya who unfortunately was not helpful & we ended up booking on booking.com.

Beautiful hotel. You’ll enjoy the terraces and quiet spaces. It’s a sanctuary from crazy Lucknow.

Pool was closed (no mention of that when we booked) staff a bit hit and miss. Some friendly others not so much. The restaurants are ok but VERY expensive. You’re a long way from the old town and drivers don’t know the hotel so we struggled to get back every time we went out. Thank goodness for google maps - we had to direct them.

Nice breakfast. Good property although the rooms need an upgrade. The bathroom tiles are run down. The fittings are run down.

Everything was excellent. Starting from the airport pickup to the check-out. The room and hotel location was excellent and so were the food and drinks.

The property itself looks good, well-maintained. Excellent staff - very courteous, polite, and kind. They do go out of their way to help you out and fulfil the tiniest of requests

There was a horrible smell in our room, potentially due to old drainage systems. Coming from the bathroom, it would stink up our entire room - horribleThe pool was closed for maintenance, but the notification didn't reach me. I booked the property especially for the poolLastly, due to weddings and private events, various parts of the property were closed down. I an already boutique property, it felt quite restrictive that we couldn't visit a restaurant, the pool, and the inner courtyard during our two-night stay.

While the property is a heritage property and carries its aura, the room was too small. Less than 100 square ft size and too cramped. It was nothing like the sizes mentioned in the booking and definitely not worth the price paid for it.If business traveller's, do avoid.

Hotel has maintained the heritage of the property. Food is amazing.

Staff needs more training and supervision specially the restaurant.

Untrained, Grumpy staff that did not smile at all. They were so grouchy to the point of being rude.It was as much confirmed that all guests through booking.com were treated as inferior. Sewage smell in the room
