Friendly and helpful people at check-in. Comfortable room. Tea and coffee supplies. Good location. Parking is small on-site, but they reimburse for nearby lots if you use their code.

Perfectly located in the centre next to the National Museum of Fine Arts.Free parking in the building. Very friendly and helpful (English speaking) staff!Clean, spacious, comfy room, with nice extras like a Japanese style toilet. Also the breakfast was included and good.

Beautiful, spacious room. Very nice and helpful staff that guided us to nearby sights and helped us use the transportation in the city. Faaaantastic breakfast.

The location was pretty far from a convenience store, but this is a very minor issue.

Love the minimalism concept. Room is flawlessly clean, modern and comfortable. Love the art decor in the elevator area, they are different in every level. Staff are attentive and helpful. Like the atmosphere at the lobby and the restaurant.The art museum and cultural center are just across the road, close proximity to The Shenji New Village, great place to chill out.

The hotel embraces minimalism, not many variety of food for breakfast, however the quality is not too bad, but really very few choices of food.

The interior is phenomenal, the window view at night and in the day are both unforgettable. Bathroom interior is super nice too

This hotel is convenient, simple and comfortable. It’s centrally located with many nice restaurants and locations within walking distance. If you are not interested in that, then the Zebra restaurant located at the first floor is a good and affordable option. The room itself is comfortable and is nicely designed. Overall, I would recommend it if you need to stay in the area.

A modern hotel with a touch of tasteful design everywhere. Not too big so you don't feel you're in some sort of factory. Could do with a business room where to work a few hours when needed.

The Place is a modern hotel, conveniently located in the center of Taichung. All amenities are well taken care of and the breakfast offers ample of choice for anybody's needs. The Place is really good value for money.

A large and modern hotel room near the art museum, this will be my go-to hotel for Taichung. The breakfast buffet was really well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very large.

I enjoy the interior design and decor, as well as the amenities provided, such as hand soap, body lotion, shower gel, and shampoo. Additionally, the front desk staff were very friendly and informed me about the check-in policies and check-out time, and also provided parking information.

I think the soundproofing is just okay; I could hear the doors closing and people talking in the hallway from inside my room. Earplugs might be needed to reduce the noise.

I like the breakfast, it’s very traditional.

I don’t like the humid and heat when I walked into the room because the hotel turn off the AC until you check in. I lived consecutive 2 nights here , they even turned off the AC while cleaned up my room. I didn’t feel good when I came back from the outside especially it’s summer time now.

The Place is a modern hotel that is conveniently located in the heart of Taichung. The rooms are modern minimsalistic but well played out and very clean.

It would have been nice if the hotel had a bar.

The Hotel ist very nice. The rooms are very characteristic and it is a nice room concept. The staff is very nice and helpful. We needed to modify our booking and they helped us doing that.

Counter staff are extremely friendly, felt very welcome to the hotel. Would like to give a thumbs up to the caretakers (Especially the guy wearing black spec, did not managed to get his name). Comfort level is there, the caretakers will literally change the towels everyday - Excellent in this point. Good location to explore around the hotel! :)

Location is a little far from HSR and places (e.g., famous big night market) we wished to visit. Not quite sound proof, I can hear noises of activating the toilet seater or closing toilet door. I am quite sensitive towards sound as during our first night, 3 consecutive knocks are heard on our door when we are about to sleep. :') We kept quiet and could not sleep till 2am plus. Other nights, could only fall asleep after 2-3am plus.

The location is perfect, just opposite the Taichung art museum and the room can overlook the surroundings of the museum. The room is spacious and comfortable with good soundproof (we didn't hear any noise from the road).The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is delicious and fresh!

The room is quite spacious and clean.

The check in time is 4:00 pm and the check out time is 11:00 am. It’s not like most hotels’ standard 3:00 pm-12:pm. I think it would be better if they change to 3:00pm-12:00pm.
