Great location, clean and comfortable

The room we booked was double bed room, when we arrived they said they gave us an upgrade and put us to the double single bed room. This is not ideal as we were couple made to sleep separate on single beds.

The hotel is in a good location where you can walk to a good amount of attractions such as Miyahara and Taroko Mall.The beds were comfortable which is really important to me. There’s ample space for 2 people in a room and in the bathroom. I liked that the room TV was on and playing welcoming music upon checking in.

There was an unpleasant odor that was musty/moldy and sewer like in my room and in the bathroom. The staff was made aware and they tried to tackle the issue as promptly as they could. They cleaned and placed a humidifier in the room but that didn’t solve the bathroom odor. I also think the breakfast options could’ve been more diverse, especially for a hotel like this.

Comfort, clean and friendly staffs.

- Location: quite near Taichung Station that looks glowing every evenings, and easy to move around.- Transportation: Just a few minutes to get to the bus stop reaching to the other part of the city.- Staff: they are really helpful and able to communicate in English. They help me with booking taxi when I have no local number.- Checkin: al- Room: has everything I need. The bathroom is big enough.- Others: No weird scent or bad smell?.- I have breakfast included. - If you are into shopping brands, there are a lot to look at.

3pm checkin is always a thing to travelers. But understandable.It might be really hot in October if you go outside and catch buses. Sometimes you need to wait for more than 30 mins.Taxi is always convenient.The breakfast could be more diverse since there were quite a lot of foreign visitors during my stay. Still quite limited in dishes.

The room is a bit old style and the window is small. The room is smaller than i expected.

Close to Taichung station. Room was clean and breakfast was yummy!

Bed is a bit small.

It's a bit far from everywhere. Mirror lights could be brighter. Shampoo is terrible.

Wifi could be better

Big clean room with spaceous bathroom. Breakfast was great a lot of options. Staff was very kind and helpfull.

Location is a 15-20 minute walk from the station, however there are not a lot of sidewalks in Taichung so beware that you will have to walk in the street sometimes. It's safe but if you are not used to this it may feel a bit weird. The bus system in Taichung is not very good, so I would recommend taxi or walking & train to most places. This location is a bit of a walk from the main station where you will likely be arriving/leaving via train or Sun Moon Lake. The walk is along the Main Street and you pass a lot of food and drink stores, so as long as you don't mind a little walk it's nice! The hotel itself is really nice and luxurious, exceeded my expectations from the price. Buffet breakfast also had a very large selection.

Even though the building doesn’t look great from the outside, the hotel itself was excellent. First and most importantly: their ventilation system was super clean, with no mould anywhere. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was super nice. I would definitely go back.

Overall it was very good. No safe box in the room.

Spacious rooms

No parking. I took an hour to find a parking lot and walked 15 minutes back to hotel after parking

Overall good experience but still a little bit of walk to the train station, breakfast is mainly Taiwan style

A little costly and saw hair in the shower

Very clean and facilities are up to date for a Taiwan hotel.

Bed and pillows are not comfortable, otherwise it was a really great stay.

Cleanliness, staff helpfulness

Shampoo shower gel in packets instead of small bottles, limited variety of breakfast choice. No chilli sauce. Toilet mirror not bright. Cannot do make up from there, have to use the room variety desk. Apart from these, overall stay is comfortable.
