the location is perfect!! near all the food and near all the place I need to go.

Have to sit in the lobby for an hour and half till 3PM for check in................

TV system is old, no desk/chair in the room, ac blowing directly on the bed

Tattoo girl was the highlight as others said, clean and comfortable, a/c blows on my face it’s the best …. (Weird suckers complaining about that…. Yes if you are tall you can change the vent angles… ) powder coffee and a microwave in the lobby , not sure why people complained about a smell i thought it was fine…

Robot check in while there are cool workers, similar to a haircut machine Tv was better than nothing but quite bad selections for English speakers No HBO :(

A really clean and good modern room, easy Check-in and out.

The room was ok, comfortable bed, quite small bathroom. Everything new and very clean. There is a small fridge, courtesy water bottles and slippers. 10 mins walk from the train station.

There was a really bad sewer smell in the room.Almost no place where to put your stuff.Staff spoke almost no English. Too expensive in my opinion.

Wifi didn’t work, even Instagram reels wouldn’t load.The first room we were given smelled so bad of smoke that we instantly changed it.

Soundproofing isn't great. A lot of noise from outside and other rooms.

Faultless location for us. We took the local train from Taipei (NOT the HSR, which stops at a different location) & arrived at Taichung station, just a 15min walk to hotel. From Sparrow, we could get around easily to Second market, Yisheng night market, Taichung Park, Taichung meatball restaurant and Suncake museum. Staff were patient & kind. Rooms were clean, no musty smells. The eating area in the foyer was really user friendly with a microwave & coffee/tea facilities.

The location is perfect, close to Taichung main station, and Chunghwa rd night market, the Second market. If you are a solo traveller or with family, couple, the hotel you can not miss.

I was told that WIFI is used for whole travellers in the building, so the signal wouldn't be fast and stable from my room.If you want to use faster WIFI, you may need to go to lobby.

Housekeeping doesn’t come to your room, I’m not sure how that works at this hotel. I had to get clean towels from the front desk.
