Old building but very clean and good condition hotel… meet with very excellent receptionist..so friendly ….9/10 …

The room is not as in the pictures. It is smaller, without sofa/ chairs. just a small room with a small window.The building is old and somewhat depressing.

Great location with fine restaurants and chic bar on the 1st floor and MRT is just literally outside of the hotel. The cocktails and the mini burgers at Frenchie Frenchie is AWESOME!!

Buffet breakfast is simple, but enough choices.Location is very good. MRT station is just corss the street.Various restaurants convenient store nearby.As far as I know, parking spaces are more than enough.

Renovated rooms much cleaner than before with no carpet. No musky or cigarette smells.Comfortable bed , sheets and pillows.

The location is good. Near to City hall MRT 30m away. Near to Taiwan Bldv with many buses going to Taichung train station, Miyahara ice cream, 2nd market, and birth place orign of bubble tea. Hotel has washing/drying clothes machine on 9th floor. Detergent powder cost $50TWD.

The bathroom has no hooks for clothes, bathtub side is wide and leaking water on floor, so dangerous for the elderly. The hotel is run down, looks like 80s hotel deco. Cater more to locals. Need to request for comb, shower cap and shaver from reception. Room onlyprovided toothbrush and packet shampoo/bath gel packs.

I like how central hotel is located. I didn’t like hotel near the north area which is very clam and dirty.

Building is very old. But it’s more exterior. Room is very clean so exterior isn’t that important

Friendly and Sportive staff and speak English very well. Clean room with perfect location (3 minutes walking to MRT station and 7 minutes to bus stop)

Very outdated facility, room was barely furnished, even the toilet seat doesn’t cover the shape of the toilet bowl. Toilet paper was the cheapest quality, paper started to melt away in the first use and you have to keep pulling more toilet paper to finish the wiping. Room slightly smelled because of the old carpet. air conditioning was very noisy throughout the night. Furniture was so cheap even some parts of it chipped away.

The location was convenient and the staff was friendly. The room was large, the beds were comfortable.

The windows did not close 100%, so I had mosquitos in my room during night, although it is begin of April. The fan in the bathroom did not really look like it is working. Usually you put your card key in a slot and then the lights go on. There was a master electricity switch instead. If you accidentally switch it of, also the power outlets in the walls do not feed your smartphone with electricity. The room was clean, but the hallway could have been cleaner. There was no breakfast.

This time my room was very noisy with traffic noise from the big street beside the hotel. Last time I got a room away from that big street and it was nice and quiet.
