Pros +
- Central location, close to local transit, 2 min. walk to SOGO store. Nicely appointed family room w/openable vent windows, included breakfast AA+, nice variety of Asian & western cuisine, staff helpful/courteous to people w/limited local language skills
- The staff and Taiwanese people are very helpful and friendly.
- Location is OK. Staff is really nice and helpful. And thats it...
Cons -
- Beds - a little on the harder side for comfort, definitely no sagging.
- Restaurant, too much pork, outside the bathroom.
- Breakfast is same as in any other hotel. Some much cheaper hotels offer better prepared food ( for example- scrambled eggs were literally soaked in oil ).

Good location with many eateries nearby, variety of cuisines and shopping.Helpful and friendly hotel staff. Not far from city centre.Excellent value for money.
Older style hotel with dated decor.
It’s right next to Sogo shopping mall.
The room and the air condition smelled bad! The bed was super uncomfortable, it moved very easily and made noises. Every is old - the door card key broke all the time. The gym smelled bad as well like an old restaurant!
The services of the staff, location of hotel, spacious and cleanliness of the room, and the choice of the breakfast are excellent.
The Wi-Fi is hopeless
Great location, lots shops and restaurants. Excellent value.
1. Far from the high speed railway station2. Facilities is a bit dated.3. Breakfast isn’t as good as it used to be.
Its service is the top in Taichung. They provide Taiwan pineapple cake at the room as welcoming guests.Their own grain bread for breakfast is delicious. Those guests in Taichung should stay one night at this hotel.
Location close to department stor ,family mart ,7-11. They let us use lucky draw voucher as well. Breakfast was excellent.
A bit confused when entering the building as lobby is on 12th flooor , sharing ground floor with the other hotel.
Location of the hotel is exceptional. Staffs are super helpful and friendly! Nonetheless, the quality of the room and the amenities are nowhere near its price point. Sadly disappointed.
The bathroom was not cleaned properly and most fixtures/bathroom are no up to date. The floor smelled so bad that I could not stop sneezing (it was like a smell mix of rotten food and mold)One of the worst parking ever for a five star hotel….
1. Perfect location. Many restaurants around hotel and very convenient traffic no matter you come or out of this city.2. Comfortable staying. Kind people and clean environment.3. Many kinds of breakfast, definitely delicious?.
The bed and pillow were very comfortable, and the breakfast has lots of choice and taste delicious
Great location, central to a lot of delicious restaurants and plenty of shopping!
It's a little bit dated and the gym facilities were ok.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. SOGO is just opposite and a shopping mall connected to the hotel. As this is an established hotel, most of the taxi drivers know the location. Breakfast buffet selection was good too!
Room and facilities were old, not as modern as expected. Bathroom was not well maintained.
