The service, the location, the bedding, everything.
From the booking right through the check out, the service was just fantastic. They let us check in early prior to 3pm because of the typhoon. The services from the front desk and the facilities and the bedding ... there is just nothing to fault. The bed is so comfortable that you wouldn't even want to get up. Location is close to eateries, and bit further down there is a little pharmacy within Watson's. Thank you Holudat Inn for making the 2 days at Taichung the best one.

Rooms look like they need thorough spring clean. Walls like cardboard, no sound insulation at all. Staff not very pleasant at checkin.
Clean and comfortable. No complaints. Very close to Feng chia market. Great night lift around area. The staff were friendly and were helpful with recommendations for travelling with Elderly.

Location near Fenqihu Market, 5mins walking distance. Basic amenities are provided and replenish. Like the room layout.
Noticed that the housekeeping didn't vacuum the floor thoroughly as I can still see strands of hair. The bathroom door needs some get used to it.

The hotel charges $330 for every extra towel. I was not expecting this as I frequent IHG very often. The table top is very narrow to put anything. Weirdest toilet door which you either close the shower area or the door for the toilet. Not suitable if you go with friends or family. Imagine you come out naked to get the towel because the hanger is outside. Please install another proper door.. The location is not really that convenient if you want to go elsewhere other than fengjia night market.

keep away from this hotel.first, crazy decision by hotel general manager that all guests must wear musk ang nylon gloves at breakfast.......second, the hotel is far far away from the main train stations, third, they tell you at front desk about free laundry but "forget" that it caust 50ntd, forth, not enough hot water at shower, fifth, very poor breakfast for western tourists and at last, the front desk has a poor English and know basic information needed about the area.
Excellent service from the staff. They pay attention to minor details, and go the extra mile for guests. It makes guests feel very special. They are very responsive to requests like when we asked for directions to next destination. One staff in particular, Sansan was superb and deserved special mention.
The toilet flush is very weak. Also, not much of a view from the room.
