    Pros +

    • Kind and helpful staff.
    • Great facilities, and the restaurant is excellent, offering local cuisine and seafood options.
    • I liked the restaurant, great breakfast and delicious dinner. The beach accross the street was beautiful. The hotel is clean and the staff is very kind and helpfull.

    Cons -

    • There were no microwaves.
    • The rules regarding the second pool area are unclear. The pool near the restaurant is not available for use, even during breakfast hours. The staff also seemed unsure about the policy, as on some days it was allowed and on others it was not.
    • According to the distance that it says on Booking for the Hotel to Downtown, I thought it was going to be closer. But it´s actually far away, at list 40 min and therefore, the taxi/ubber is expensive.

Great vibe, excellent room and breakfast

No one walks around in the neighborhood. Mooving is only by taxi/Uber. Gorgeous beach but could go only across the hotel street. The hotel itself is great.

Pool breakfast garden. Enjoyed the romantic setting

Street noise in room after requesting quiet room.

The staff is very kind. The infrastructure in general is little bit old.

There is no blanket available in the hotel. For me it’s unacceptable.

Very spacious room.Comfortable bed.Beautiful and clean pool.Kind staff.

In the surrounding area there is no movement and no options of restaurants or bars.Beach in the region also empty.During the night small cockroaches appeared in the bathroom, very unpleasant. At check out they tried to charge me stay fees, which only gave up when I reminded them that the Booking app informs that in the daily rate the fees and taxes were already included.Extremely expensive restaurant.Reasonable breakfast.Shower and tap water come out weak and it takes a long time to heat up.

My room was very clean upon arrival and incredibly spacious. The bathroom is bright and well designed. I liked the safe for my belonging and the espresso machine. The balcony had the best view of the ocean. They have a massage therapist that comes each night and I melted on her table on my first night after my 25 hour flight! The two pools are beautiful and lined with tile and marble. Flowers abound everywhere and the property is guarded an artisan made metal fence in the form of organic flora. The restaurant serves incredible dinners and included breakfast. The drinks are excellent, I drank mostly wine. Across the street is the most pristine beach that I witnessed my entire 14 day trip. Wild horses abound in the area, especially on the weekends when Salvador clams down. I enjoyed the underground private parking, the very attentive from desk staff and house staff. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful with a green courtyard and many beautiful tables, art, an outdoor cooking staff, and a play area for children. The entry to the restaurant features an art area and museum of sorts about the original owners, so cool! I will be coming back to Casa Di Vina!

I loved everything about the place!

Located very close to the airport, ideal for short stopover. It is designed partly as a literary museum with cultural memorabilia from a local poet. We stayed in the poet suite-museum. Very comfortable and authentic room. Breakfast was delicious and staff genuinely friendly.

The staff were really lovely, professional and welcoming from reception, the restaurant staff, bell boy, maids, waiters etc. The room was spacious and clean, the towels, shampoo, soap, shower gel, bathroom and mini bar provision were lovely, they contacted us to arrange 2 cots which was thoughtful. We liked the playground access, restaurant food and green space. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The staff in the restaurant could not do enough for us and were really tolerant of our children and excellent 5*. Plenty of toilets but unfortunately no baby change. Bed linen was lovely.

As feedback for improvement only - the check in was arduous as you had to do it on your phone. The bed was quite hard, the pillows rather thin, the fridge turned off easily, our room was a long way from reception/the restaurant so quite a long walk with 2 children under 2 and because my son slightly messed on the bed the first night we had the bed remade which was great but the blanket wasn't replaced so we slept under towels the second night. I didn't really like the location so that would put me off booking again. The tv was in the bedroom instead of the lounge space which for us was a small issue as we couldn't relax when the kids went to bed. I'd also include filtered water rather than plastic bottles in the room and tea and coffee as part of the mini bar or room service for drinks. I also sent 2 emails via booking.com but had no reply. I hated the QR code menu in the restaurant please give the option of a hard copy. A baby change table in one of the toilets downstairs would be helpful.

From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and all the facilities were in perfect working order. We absolutely loved the room’s stunning décor and modern aesthetic—it felt like a blend of comfort and style. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, with a special shoutout to Fernandes, whose outstanding customer service made a lasting impression on both my friend and me. The on-site restaurant was another highlight, serving some of the most delicious and exquisitely presented dishes we've ever had.I can't recommend this hotel enough. It was a truly memorable experience, and I’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Comfortable and clean rooms, simple design, good air conditioning and WiFi, has all the amenities you need. The common areas are very nicely designed, cosy and very clean. Both pools are clean and warm with plenty of space. The restaurant offers delicious Brazilian cuisine with some Italian fusion, the cocktails are delectable - it’s a must visit when in Salvador. Breakfast buffet is great - both variety and taste. It is also very special to stay at a property with such rich history - there is memorabilia all around the hotel. The staff - 100 out of 10, very friendly and helpful employees. I had a late night flight and had to stay at the hotel all day after my checkout, I was very well taken care of and truly felt welcome. Also definitely recommend the massage, great value and very thorough.

To elevate the experience even more, I can suggest to update the shower heads in the rooms and offer a kit of toiletries, it is expected in a 4 star hotel. Also I found that the common areas are much nicer and cozier than the rooms - I would suggest making the rooms a little more homey and add the same coziness and personality.

Amazing service, very kind and helpful people, with great English :)The pool is very nice and you can chill and have really good food. Breakfast had a lot of great options. It’s very close to the airport, about 10 minutes drive

The restaurant had good food and the room was clean.

One of the front desk staff was rude while I was checking out. I went up to him and he asked me why I was coming to him when the person next to him was free.

The breakfast was super delicious. A calm area that’s close to the beach. I loved the decor.

Didn’t indicate if the coffee in the room was complimentary.
