Pros +
- BREAKFAST WAS GOOD - LOTS OF OPTIONS. STAFF IS AMAZING
- Room and premises very clean and comfortable.Pretty good infrastructure with many activities for guests, in particular for kids.Nice breakfast, but the dinner buffet could be better.Staff very helpful, kind and professional.
- Great pools, especially for families with young kids. Kids club from 4 with nice activities (in Portuguese)Great breakfast, lots of variety, and good quality. The lunch buffet was good too.Spacious rooms, modern bathroom, fairly comfortable beds, but pillows too soft for us.Clean bathroom and beds, but not the floor.
Cons -
- OVERALL IT IS A GOOD HOTEL, HOWEVER NOT 5 STARS. NEED TO IMPROVE BEDROOMS, ELEVATORS, STAIRS, SHARED BATHROOMS AND THE RESTAURANT.
- Location is good, but a little far away from the main tourist attractions of Salvador.
- The staff really let us down. We had several issues, and they were not handled well.First, the curtains were not closing, and a lamp had exposed wires because the plug was broken - the first being annoying for young kids (who wake up early and are unable to nap) and the second being a clear danger. They quickly sent someone to fix it, but that person made a huge mess and left behind lots of tiny rocks, and did not ask for cleaning up after themselves. So we did, but the first cleaner only mopped, without sweeping or vacuuming, so it moved things around but did not improve. So we called someone else a bit later. The amount of dust and rocks they collected was scary. It was not clean. No apologies from management on that.At the end of our stay, we noticed that the hairdryer, which we had not used, also had exposed wires. This was worse than the lamp, as it was in the bathroom, at a height accessible by a young child, and with tape around some wires, probably covering a connection. This can kill a child, and our room is designed for families. We requested an urgent fix, which they promptly provided. They also promised to compensate us for our troubles, which they never did.Beyond those issues minor downsides include the late pool opening and the lack of 24/7 drinking water availability (fountain only accessible at gym hours)Finally, despite fixing the curtains, they did not reach the floor, so a lot of light would still pass through. The only offered solution was to hide it with sheets or pillows.

Clean, quiet and good views
Far from the city and attractions
This place is great, it was the best hotel we stayed in Brazil (we visited 3 different cities, Rio, Natal and Salvador). The hotel is new, the outside area in particular (pool, garden, etc) is amazing, so well maintained and nice.. The pool is huge and even if there are people, it seems still very quiet and relaxing..
It's not so near to Salvador down town, it takes 20-25 minutes by taxi to get to the city center, but on the other side is close to the airport, so for us was a good compromise.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to organize tours and transportation at ease.
The food wasn't that great. There wasn't a variety of dishes to choose from. And they serve the same thing daily.
Facilities for kids
The welcome reception - I carried all the luggage by myself and with a small baby on my hands.
People were very friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable.Pool was nice and the fitness room was pretty good!
Buffet for dinner was average.
We spent some very pleasant days with our family, everything was perfect, all the people at the hotel are very helpful, the social areas are very quiet and the restaurant is perfect. The best place to be in Bahia.
The musical loop of the swimming pool.
Zelia Gatai suite was beyond stunning with a heavenly view. The bungalows are magical and should never be missed. The food and staff were great. It was such a relaxing stay and we will certainly come back.
The outdoor area is of good quality, the spaces for children are well thought out
There was no cleaning of the bathroom, no correct change of sheets, crib with an old and unstable structure for a 1 and a half year old baby.
Used the hotel only for one night for a stopover. Close to the airport. Rooms not special. But pool area is nice.
It was on a very big site nice and clean
There was no main pool it was being updated
That's my second time at the hotel. The staff did a really great job! Loved the bedroom and the bonus services that came with it. We stayed at the premium room at the 8th floor, everything was perfect! They have bungalows at another pool that you can make a reservation and spend the morning or the afternoon there, it's great for couples.
Some things at the room service were a bit expensive. They charged us for things we didn't consume and some items were doubled on the bill. But it was not a big deal since they took it out from our room bill and everything was ok.
Amenities were great!
Food. Breakfast needed a lot more work. You also want to add more vegetarian options to the menu and not serve a veg soup with strands of chicken floating over it to a vegetarian.
The hotel complex is huge with various pools, kids corner, tennis / volley / football courts and an immense gym. The breakfast is fairly good. It’s an ideal place for families with kids.
The hotel is not super clean - could be improved. Also the restaurant could have more options (vary between lunch and dinner choices)
Food very good.Super hospitality.Staff super nice especially Victor from the frontdesk.
Friendly staffGood mattressesClean roomNice pool
Location
The pool was phenomenal. I did not know there was a kids area, that was a lovely surprise. The included breakfast was very good. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Very kid friendly. Nice pool and entertainment (games like pool, table tênis and soccer)
Old building. Sometimes staff misinformed us.
