Gia Bao Hotel Cat Ba

This is by fae one of the best hotels iv ever stayed in. I was so impressed. Its new and modern and is clean. Greag value for money. Would definitely stay there again. The staff, even with basic english, were just amazing!

fantastic price for the location

beds werent incredibly clean, and the hot water only lasted a minute or so. But it wasnt a great issue at all considering the price per night

Very friendly hosts, nice tours, breakfast and everything else Friendly staff who is ready to help you with any kind of request, the rooms are nice and big, beds are comfortable, you can choose different meal every day for the breakfast.

My girlfriend got food poisoning and they were beyond helpful. Checked on us, gave us advice, where to get medicine. Treated her like their own daughter basically. When it got worse they got us a taxi to hospital and even stayed with us to translate and brought me food for free! They are amazing. The room is also very good!

Good day trip to Ha Long Bay

The room wasnt clean, a lot of mold, a window in front on a wall so no fresh air.

room with a view of the harbor. Clean room. Good size. Nice wood furniture. Comfortable bed. All the expected amenities in good working order. Bathroom was clean but, as in most Vietnamese hotels, the shower wets everything in the bathroom, if not very careful. Breakfast was good (you make a selection from a short menu). Working elevator. Convenient location on the main road near the main dock.

+ We are a 55 year old couple making a tour in Vietnam. The house is situated in a Great location: 3 walk to the beach, the quite area. The room is tiny but clean, all comfort is available. You can chill in your seat outside. Every day breakfast is made with good fresh fruits. But what strikes the most is the help and kindness of the hosting family. The last evening we could even join a family BBQ, with fresh fish, local vegetables, pork, ....it was the best we ate during our whole stay in Vietnam. You can rent a scooter for a very cheap price. I can only recommend you can enjoy the experience we joined

We booked for 2 nights in Pina Hotel and ended up staying for 6 nights. Linh and all his staff were absolutely fantastic and helped us out in any way needed. The rooms are large, modern and clean. Breakfast is simple but very nice and set us up nicely for the day ahead. The day boat trip we organised at reception was excellent as well as our transport back to Hanoi, we were picked up in a bus from hotel, transferred to a speed boat and then onto another bus to Hanoi, all very quick and efficient . Great job all around. Highly recommend.

The hotel was really well situated!The staff was helpful and we were able to rent motorcycles for quite cheap and have tips about the island

The beds were really uncomfortable. It seemed like there was no mattress, so we were sleeping on a very very hard surface. We asked for blankets to put under us, but they said it wasn't possible. Really too bad because none of us had a good night sleep and we were tired for the rest of the stay.

Great location and very good value for money. Room is a good size.

Beds were very hard so didnt sleep well. The shower is in a very awkward position, hard to have a shower without soaking the entire bathroom.

The impressive thing of the hotel is the price. It was too reasonable for the quality of rooms and service. The hotel is clean and breakfast was tasty. The manager tool care everything. sunset boat trip was excellent. Friendly staff, very fluent English speaking. The hotel locates in the main street but not noisy, room is large enough and clean. Money paid is worth it

Good location and price. The room was not in great condition but for the price was a pleasant stay. I ended up staying one more night because I liked the privacy it gave me for the same price as in an hostel.

The beds are hard so it might not be comfortable for everyone.

beds dont have mattress on them. its super uncomfortable not possible to get good sleep. rooms facing the street arent good idea if you want to get rest. it gets super noisy at the night (party area). I had a cockroach in my bathroom.

nothing like the photos. no money exchange, shared kitchen or view like the description says. our room didnt even have a window. room was quite dirty. but the place is very cheap so maybe thats why.

Nice location right in the center. The room rate is very cheap, the staff is friendly and enthusiastic. Help customers wholeheartedly. I am very satisfied with this trip.
