Hoang Hai Hotel Haiphong

Everything was great, room was very clean and very modern, good hot water and cool a/c. Staff was very helpful.

Great location. Allowed early checkin. ..

Mold on the water gun nozzles. Lamps do not work. Several spots are unclean. Cheaply made furniture. It's a very badly maintained room. Rude staff banged on the door and woke us up in the morning for daily cleanup.

Good location and value.

More choice for breakfast. Breakfast is decent.

Location was great

The first room we had was filthy and stank of smoke, the replacement wasn’t much better. This hotel is in dire need of a professional refurbishment, not the botched DIY job that has been attempted.

I like the location, very convenient.

Our check-in was very slow. We landed late at night and the clerk seemed unable to find our booking. We were shown to the wrong room type and the room wasn't ready. They then had to upgrade us to a bigger room. The room was a bit dated, needs updating. They use sensor lights on the corridor, very dark until you step out.

Although the hotel was very quiet because of Tet new year. Staff were really helpful. Lovely comfortable bed.We got upgraded to a room with a bath and shower at the front of the hotel. Which was good, apart from loud music from the street below.

Noise from the busy street

Big comfortable bed. Friendly staff Fairly central location to markets, coffee shops etc

You could hear the traffic and music around all night, not enough soundproofing. The shower also leaked everywhere.

We staid only one night on our way to cat ba. Close to center and shops. Personel very friendly, not very fluent in English but willing to help.

Breakfest very simple. Generally hotel is not a 3star European standard.

This hotel is well located near the station and many shops, markets and restaurants. It is clean and well appointed. We found the water temperature in the shower a bit difficult to regulate, but not a big issue. The breakfast was good.

Breakfast items could have been topped up a bit more promptly. Otherwise, all good.

Good location, within walking distance to every things. Professional front desk, excellent housekeeping and security staffs.

Smell of cigarette smoke and the level of noise in the hallway. Needs better sound proofing.

Clean and good location

Staff were NOT that helpful compared to other properties we have stayed in Breakfast wasn’t great by any means

Location is good

Room is old, quite small, a bit run down. Over priced

Location is good for waking around and room type is enough space.

Breakfast is little less for choose. May be so early.

Cozy and clean room / nice Breakfast / kind workers

Incoming smoke(smell) from other rooms or outside / the lack of noise shielding of room door

The hotel was ok. When we first checked in the room smelt very fusty and felt damp, however when we asked to change rooms this was sorted out quickly and the next room was better (the reception didn’t seem surprised with our request so probably happened before!)The room was fine, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were helpful and arranged a taxi for us the next day, thank you!

The breakfast included wasn’t great, there was no coffee (only black tea available) and the buffet was not being used. We had some fruit and pho but to be honest it was not great!

Check-in was easy and fast. Great location, close to all the highlights of the city!

Breakfast buffet could be later on the weekend (only from 6:30-8 AM). Room smelled a little bit moldy.

The hotel was exceptional! Location was great - you can go to all tourist attraction within 3 km from the hotel, not to mention it’s super close to the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful; they even upgraded my room with no extra charge as a token. Will definitely come back here!

Loved everything. Everyone is amazing and so helpful. Comfortable stay. Would go back again for sure!!! Thank you hoang hai team

The location and staff.

Quality hotel with perfect location
