Palmwood Guesthouse

Think twice before booking with them, they cancelled my booking 1 hour before i was due to check in.At first, they were commited to refunding me, being very sincere and apologetic. More than a week later, cant get hold of anyone and wont reply to my request for a refund.Ridiculous service from Palmwood Guesthouse.

Great location, very quiet and peaceful. The staff was amazing from when we arrived to those who served us breakfast which was very tasty.

Room neat and cozy, spacious. Friendly owners and staff.

The noise of the door when other tenants were coming inside, Plus the privacy especially out of the balcony. Ther was no side lamps in my room.

Overall very nice except….

They need to put towel rails in the bathroom as well as something to put soap on in the shower and a place for toiletries in the bathroom! In the bedroom a small table

Linen was clean.

There was no seating in the room.I booked a room with a bath and sea view as advertised. We got a room with just a shower. The shower and basin gave off an electrical shock when in use.

Beautiful property in a nice quiet area. G was also a pleasant host.

Our room was not ready after 15:30, even though check in was from 14:00. On the day of checking out, at around 10:05 I was asked to check out. I appreciate that I was a bit late to check out but considering that our room was not ready more than an hour and a half after check in- I didn’t expect to be reminded 5-10 min after check out that I need to leave the room. But I took it with a pinch of salt since I was on my way out.

Bad

I received a call on my way to the accomodation stating that they can no longer accomodate me as they experienced problems. I had to look for another accomodation in the last minutes and that cost me more

Giselle was very pleasant and accommodating, loved her customer skills and excellent service

the tv wasn’t working

Good

I stained the bed cover on my first night and it wasn't changed for rest of my stay

I liked everything about the place, since we arrived the Manager made sure we settle well and we have clean new towels. Above all the stuff members are exceptional ? they made sure we eat our breakfast in time?.

I don’t eat pork or eggs so the property could only offer me toast as an alternative for everytime I had breakfast. I was disappointed at the fact that the host judged me for taking more than 2 sugars

I think staff friendliness is something they should really consider working on.

The accommodation was clean, safe and very peaceful. The host and staff were amazing I enjoyed my stay☺️

Vwey clean and peaceful. Giselle was amazing.

Breakfast could be served a little earlier for those that would like to sit for breakfast before heading into work.

Very friendly, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Parking was ample.

The location was good and the neatness. The breakfast was lovely and the hostess friendly.

Location was great also the place is great.

They can improve on mybe adding staff to help with breakfast as they cannot keep up. Also try and get ppl to spray there were two cochroaches in my room in the morning. I think granny and her helper are not coping and she sometimes get grumpy because she is tired.

The place was super clean and the air con was properly working. Hot water throughout the weekend and filling breakfast.

Nothing really

The property was clean and safe. The host was very helpful. They have cleaning services so the rooms are fresh throughout your stay. Its close to a mall great for someone travelling for business or anyone who just wants to relax and take it easy

The rooms have no sea views?? they only have dstv but it only plays the soccer channels. The good restaurants are inside the mall?

Quiet place. Good location. Clean pool. Great staff.

the place was beautiful, neat and had a very nice garden/pool area. also the beds were so comfortable, i loved the fact that they change towels everyday unlike other lodges.

i didnt like the fact that the walls for partitioning are too thin that you hear everything thats happening in the neibours rooms. furthermore neighbours would even complain that we are loud not realising that we also feel the same way. that is when i realised that the problem is with the walls.
