Location was perfect, room was clean and comfortable, updated bathroom.

They were not expecting me despite my confirmed booking. As a solo female traveler I returned from dinner after dark to a completely dark guest house - had to use my phone to guide my way in and through the main house to my room. Would have appreciated some lights on in the early evening.

The Tv was not logged in so i could not watch anything.The coffee in the room and no milk only creamer

House is beautiful and it is as in the picture and we were served with extra bath towels.

The service was unpleasant, we had no one to change beddings during our stay, the room was never cleaned, the dustbin was never emptied and we were told that breakfast is not served on public holiday. We were there for a holiday why did they accept guests if they know the service advertised will not be rendered. There is also an unpleasant smell from the bathroom of which there were no air fresheners to reduce it and the toilet sit in our room was broken, no iron in the room for guests.

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Welcomed our dog. Most pet friendly establishments are not of as good as standard as this one. It was great to stay in a CLEAN upmarket place with our dog.

Meet and greet was very poor to non existent. However we did "kiss and make up" later. No desk or power points for using a computer.

The property was in a good location and close to my venue for work.

When I arrived there was no one to welcome me. I battled to get hold of someone. Took me about 10 minutes to enter the premises.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming especially William and Michelle. The view of the pool and garden area is great and very relaxing to sit outside. It's close to the Outeniqua Nature Reserve which was great for trail running purposes. I will definitely make use of the accommodation again.

Wish there were a inverter type system to at least keep the lights and internet running during load shedding.The alarm had to be reset every time after load shedding to stop beeping.Some items (such as the mirrors in the bathroom) could have been cleaned a bit betterThe shower door did not close properly unless forced closed in our room.

The location is good, room was comfortable, breakfast was served quickly to suit me.

The power outages & the host did not have a backup at all. The room I had was ok except there was an alarm system outside the room which kept on beeping, also not acceptable

Im extremely disappointed with this false presentation online we where placed in a room next to garage like a domestic room next to the dustbins - smelt. Then when I queried what time breakfast was I was told I must wait for other guest to leave then they can accommodate my wife and I. After 8:30 not worth the money spent wouldn't give that a 1 star felt like I was a second rate citizen not a guest

Loved the fact the staff was so friendly, we arrived late and communicated that with them... When we arrived the lady was there and welcomed us. Loved that they made alternative means for my friend who didn't eat bacon and got her sausages

Please replace those kiddies Danone and get atleast the medium sized ones

Breakfast there doesn't accommodate everyone,it's made only for pork eating people. Otherwise it's tomatoes and eggs everyday.

My room was next to the lounge where a group of people were relaxing, and the smoke penetrated to my room. I was harmed. I asked to be moved to the available room, which was a disaster. Lights are not working, not cleaned, and no WI fi.

Honestly the location is what I liked most

It wasn't clean when I arrived. Room is a garage made room and feels like that too. Beeping of alarm through night

I'm really impressed that of all the other place of accommodation. The Lord Caledon Guest House is the only one with a fully operational generator. This shows that the are really outstanding in the industry and don't mind going the extra mile for the guests. We'll done. You have no become my go to accommodation in George?

I like everything of the accommodation.

The breakfast was average. The staff accomodated us by serving our breakfast earlier than the normal time.

The alarm constantly went off in the middle of the night due to load shedding and the siren is located right next to room 1 where our technician stayed.Room 1 is also right next to the owner's house and his pets were very noisy which was a problem.
