Holiday Inn Jeddah Corniche By IHG

The were very good

Everything was fine and staff were friendly and professional.

Not exactly on corniche, despite the name indicating that.

Location- staff

Sound proof is not good I heard sound from next rooms to my room

Clean with almost new furnishings.

The sink in the bathroom is fixed on higher level than the usual that makes it very difficult to be used by children and even adults.

Location, comfy bed

Breakfast was the poorest I have seen in a long time. Dried cheese and other cold cuts. Looked like few days old. Selection was ok but quality of the food very poor. Shame. It could be less and better quality.Dark room, window was very small and zero view even to the empty space.

Roshan at the front desk was the best of an extraordinarily fine staff, and went far beyond the norm in helping us and giving advice. She fixed a mixup with rooms and booking so that we kept the same room we wanted for three nights, plus added breakfast for the inconvenience. The breakfast was very good, with all the offerings tasty and extensive. The sea-view room was large with comfy bed, good storage, and excellent wi-fi. The gym was substantial, one of the best we've used.

Rooms with sea view also need to know that there is a petrol station and cafe in front of the hotel, which seem to keep a constant motor noise going through the night - not loud, but annoying once you notice it. You can still see the water and beach, as advertised. The location at Jeddah Beach is nice but does not have too many resources nearby other than a great Tamimi supermarket; the middle corniche/Palestine area is about a half-hour walk, but otherwise you need to drive to most things in Jeddah.

Location, room space, cleanness, staff, and gym were all very good and exceeded my expectations

Nothing major

Clean and quiet

No bath tub even in suiteShower pressure was very low very badNo bath rob asked many times no response No hard soap

Location, bedroom, facilities were all excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom was spacious and complete with basic necessities. Breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious. I had a very pleasant stay, indeed. Just like any other Holiday Inn hotel chains.

No window in my suite. I don't remember if it was informed when I reserved it.

Big room, great breakfast, beautiful view towards the Red Sea. Well recommend!

I would recommend this property 100% percent! The room was amazing, very clean and comfortable! The pool was spectacular. The breakfast was amazing as well.

There was nothing I we didn’t like.

room was spacious ,neat and clean.

location is bad, nothing near it other than a hospital. we heard a loud alarm in the room and hotel. and got panic attack. it was a false fire alarm or some kind of uninformed training happen I guess. frantically ran out in my pyjamas to checker house keeping staff luckily was in the floor and said its nothing to worry. but excuse me why that loud alarm to scare the guest??? My mother who's 70yr old almost got a panic attack. if any thing would have happened it would have been disastrous. the only one coffee shop /restaurant messed up my order many times. if u order an item, it won't come as a complete order and ut won't be same. they would put some thing random to fill the plate.

Room was spacious, location close to corniche, good breakfast

Location, breakfast, staff, cleaningNaeem ul staff member was very helpful

Air Conditioning system is sensor based which turns off in the night automatically which may cause sweating

The hotel access was only via basement 1 through lift (as the road in front of entrance was under construction). They should have disclosed it to Booking.com for the guests to be aware of this concern at the time of booking. Despite of this considerable flaw (though temporary) the rates were charged heavy inline to other similar hotel (likely better in terms of accessibility). I could sense lack of customer service and lack of concern /empathy towards guests by the hotel staff. They play loud music in hotel lobby and reception area and keep the air conditioners set to 18 degree C making the environment unbearably cold for guests sitting for Breakfast / food or coffee. Least accommodative to the requests of a room with view or non-smoking room despite of all the odds mentioned above. Breakfast is good but consistency in staff behaviour to the food served (omlette cooked) lacks.
