Location and staff as well asa food
No hand towels! TV didn't work and took a long time to get sorted.
Nice location in relatively quiet part of Pune.
As international visitors, we were not aware that the property does not accept Visa. We were lucky we chose to settle the bill the evening before departure. Otherwise, we would have missed our train because we would have been searching for ATMs to access cash.
Very welcoming staff, comfortable room and bed, clean, Bhavarth-Geeta on the night table was a very unique experience and satisfying. Breakfast with good quality food.
The guests should not be talking loudly in the corridors or in the rooms
Location very good, staff very cooperative and friendly, absolutely no issue with that.
Incidently we had stayed in Oakwood Hotel the past 2 times we visited Pune and can't help but compare as the price of rooms is approximately the same (Oakwood 5-10% more expensive. Actually we tried booking at Oakwood this time too, but it was not available on the dates we wanted.) We found the room in Hotel Swaroop much smaller, the amenities less (no frig or tea/coffee facility in the room, no shampoo in the bathroom). Also, the variety at the buffet breakfast is much less (no fruit at all here).
