They told us room will be ready in one hour so we came back one hour later still we were waiting in the lobby for another hour. and also during checkout the lady there was not able to handle guest she took 30mins to give us refund.

we were made to wait for check in and to get refund.

The room was very comfortable, all of the staff were very helpful and courteous, and the breakfast was phenomenal

The only downsides were there was lots of renovations being done on the hotel so the hallways were very dusty, and the Wi-Fi was extremely slow so it was hard to work

I stayed at Hotel Orchid Pune recently, and honestly, the entire experience was far below what I expected from a property in this price range. Right from the time I arrived, things just kept going downhill.Before my arrival, I had clearly mentioned that I needed a mini fridge because I had to store a medicine. But when I checked in, the fridge wasn’t there. I had to wait quite a long time before it finally came, and when they placed it, it didn’t even fit properly — the cabinet door couldn’t close anymore. It looked completely unplanned and unprofessional.They also refused to give me a second key card to keep the electricity running for the fridge. I had to push and follow up for days before they finally agreed. Even after keeping the card in, the power would still randomly shut off and come back, which is extremely risky when you’re storing medicine.The problems didn’t stop there. The WiFi was terrible, constantly dropping, and they only allow 2 devices per room, which makes no sense for work travellers. Room cleanliness was poor — there was clearly dust behind the TV. Their water rule allows only 3 bottles per room, and they simply refuse if you need more.Even ordering food felt like a task. Asking for something as simple as cut cucumbers turned into a repeated lecture about it being chargeable — even after we said yes multiple times. In the end, we had to call someone to the room just to get the order taken properly.The lift glitches often, showing the wrong floors and creating confusion. The moment you enter the property, it honestly feels like an OYO-level experience, not a “premium” hotel. At this point, it’s better to stay in a 3-star hotel — at least they charge according to the service they provide.The General Manager, Mr. Kundu, seriously needs to fix these issues because the hotel is nowhere near the standards they claim to offer.Except for the few excellent staff members, the stay was disappointing and absolutely not worth the price.

Location of property is good, everything else at this moment is pretty disgusting

Hotel is going under renovation, beds are uncomfortable, AC does not work as expected, they put their customers in rooms where right in front of the room there is painting & renovation jobs are happening, walkways inside hotel are dirty, you have to walk through rubble to get to the lobby, staff is not helpful in resolving any issues or complains. You pay for 4-5 star experience & get 2 start treatment. I was able to get 2x the better hotel for half the price in Pune once I left this dirty place

Location due to the stadium

Outside food not allowed. Even packed food fruits were not allowed.The athletes and parents were mistreated when taking whole food like or packed yogurts from the restaurant, which we have paid for ..as these are competition kids they need some nourishing food which we can trust the hotel to give when travelling from other cities and countries The executive room was very far away which was not informed and very inconvenient to come for food.The autos were not allowed in even if the elderly and athletes were requesting for the same.It was a long walk outside the main gate even with luggage we had to get outside and then walk with all stuff in hand.The sous chef was telling the guests rules are rules.The restaurant service was very slow.There was no fridge was not there.When requested it made so much noise couldn't sleep. The. Had to switch it off finally.

If u get room at front portion of Hotel then only it’s good. Back portion to hotel rooms are not good, far away from front portion, the passage from front desk to back side fo hotel room is not at all good, little bad smell while passing from that area. My room’s shower area had very bad smell and complained to staff about that. Lap was rusted and electric kettle was not properly cleaned and quite old. Over all disappointing experience.

Breakfast was amazing. I liked the variety of options and the quality was great.Room was good. You can tell the remodel efforts if you look closely but it was all very well done.Staff was attentive and friendly.

Just a nit, I had trouble staying connected to the wifi. Probably because my room was at the very end of the 6th floor.

A special thanks to Vaishnavi (front officestaff), she was very helpful and she supported my wife during her stay at hotel at that time when my wife get sick due to some unavoidable conditions at that time Vaishnavi and hotel staff take care her in their hotel to recover her health conditions. So kindly pay my regards to the Vaishnavi and all staff members for their help and support ?? ❤️

There was nothing to like about this property! Dont know how they call it as a “five star property”. It is definitely not worth being called one

The room had a weird smell, it looked super old, washroom had a weird stink, the flooring was slippery, the view from window was pathetic, the bed made noises even if you flip from one side to other,

rooms were very clean. Room service was excellent

Live counter delays at breakfast could be attended to better

One of best Hotel in Pune. Very good experience in the orchid hotel . All staff was very frndly and this hotel was best.

The location is good. Also the outside parts are enjoyable.

Very bad smell in the rooms, outdated design, mold in the bathroom cause fresh air has never seen the inside of a room.

No value for money

Hotel room’s bathroom had a persistent stink. When the reservations were made for 2 only one towel, one glass & one pair is slippers were kept in the room.. When asked for one more towel the desk operator said it’ll take time as there are other guests too.. The pot was stained. The AC didn’t cool the room even when it was set at 18•C. Hotel didn’t grant us the permission to take are go to packages to our room.
