Staff was very accommodating!

Staff is horrible. worst I¿ve ever dealt with. Lazy, unresponsive, doesn¿t do their job. Not only do you have to call the service desk 10 times until you get mad, then you physically have to go to the desk in person and complain to get anything done.

The hotel is a good value for the money. They offer various type and level of room with a wide price range. Except for the grouchy waiter in their restaurant, the front desk and hotel staff are hardworking, helpful and friendly.

Top Tips
- Most hotels in Quezon City add a 10% service charge and 12% VAT, totaling about 22% extra on top of published rates. Confirm if your quoted rate includes these fees before booking.
- Use the Grab app for airport or late-night rides to avoid meter refusal and ensure clear pricing. Most hotels provide designated Grab pickup areas. Allow 45-90+ minutes for travel from Quezon City to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), especially during peak hours.
- Tap water is not considered potable. Most hotels provide 1-2 complimentary bottles of water daily. Request extra if needed, or buy sealed bottles at convenience stores for about ₱30-₱40 (under $1 USD) each.
- During the June-October rainy season, power outages are more common. Confirm your hotel’s generator covers elevators, air-conditioning, and Wi-Fi, as many properties only provide backup for basic lighting.
- Hotels within a 5-10 minute walk of Cubao, North Avenue, or Quezon Avenue stations can save you 20-40+ minutes during Manila rush hour compared to taxi or rideshare.
- Nightlife in Timog and Tomas Morato continues until 1-3 AM. If you’re sensitive to noise, request an interior-facing or higher-floor room. Hotels can often accommodate advance requests.
- Tipping is customary for hotel staff in Quezon City. Keep several ₱20 or ₱50 notes (about $0.35-$0.85 USD) handy for housekeeping or bell service.
- To avoid hidden fees of 2-4%, always ask for your card to be charged in PHP, not in USD or your home currency.
- Store valuables like passports, cards, and cash in the hotel safe. In-room safes are standard in leading Quezon City hotels; ask at check-in if no safe is visible.
- If you rely on strong Wi-Fi, ask the front desk for typical Mbps speeds and whether backup power covers the network. Most international chains in Quezon City guarantee steady service, but verify at booking.
