Only a 3-minute walk from El Chaco Beach, Mar Azul has comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi in Paracas. Ica bus station is also a 3-minute walk. Guests can enjoy a terrace with panoramic sea views. Rooms at Mar Azul will provide you with a TV and a balcony. Private bathrooms also come with a shower. Extras include a desk and a safety deposit box. At Mar Azul you will find a 24-hour front desk. - It was ok since it's a 3-stars hotel. The hot water shower pressure was great. Near the bed it had no electrical outlet to charge cell phone so I had to have the phone far away from my bed, unreachable (luckily I was there only one night). Also, the glass door to the balcony couldn't lock, but the staff reassured it was a safe place. If paying with credit card, they must be notifed ahead of time since they have to bring the credit card machine.
- Close to everything. Staff were very helpful. We had large suitcases for our 5 week trip, and they helped us carry them to the third floor rooms. Rooms were clean and quiet. Although breakfast was not included in our room rate (?) they offered us bread, tea, and juice. It was really nice of them.
Cons -
- No electrical outlets near bed, charging the cell phone away from the bed is uncomfortable, to reach cell phone (if it rang or for alarm) had to get up from bed.
- I disliked the strong incense smell from the lobby.
