Chez Mimosa Local - Free Laundry

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. All the staff were so helpful with our questions and offered us many recommendations for food. Loved the added touch of a foot soak after a long day of exploring Ho Chi Minh City. There is no elevator and staff were very quick to help with luggage.

The water temperature was sometimes inconsistent.

The place would be a good value at $25 but at almost $60 It was a ripoff plus they charge 3% to pay with a visa card. The beakfast was the worst!!!! It would be better not to have a breakfast at all!! Very limited. As for the pho it was instant noodles. The coffee was nothing special fruit was good and the jam was good. There was only eggs no protein other then eggs and eggs make myself sick. As for the shower it was dangerous the water would go from warm to scolding hot and if that is not enough the ceramic tiles in the shower was slick as snot when it was wet. I am not young so falling is NOT fun!!! The toilet was funky too when standing up to pee you have to hold the seat up cuz the used a cheap toilet and the buttblaster leaked so that slick floor was always wet. There are other things that were funky about the room and do not get me wrong I can deal with all the stuff but not at that price. The 3% and the shitty breakfast and the shower will keep me from coming back.

The room was clean and very quiet as well as an amazing location. The breakfast was lovely and made to order. I liked that it was on the top floor. Also check in was easy even though we arrived at 2:30am.

They offer a taxi for 20 usd from airport to the hotel, thats weird..whereas you can order Grab through airport wifi for 150 Vietnamese Kwhich is around 5 euros...

Really lovely friendly caring staff - all very sweet. Location is excellent - close to district 1 action, but room super peaceful and quiet - I've travelled many times to Vietnam (and a quiet room amongst the action is almost unheard of!!)

It didn't bother me, was good exercise, but note there is no lift (so lots of stairs if you're on a higher level like I was) - therefore not the right place for anyone with mobility issues

The room is nice and tidy and the three receptionists and other staff are extra helpful.

Fabulous breakfasts; didn't even realize meats were missing! Anna, the kitchen manager is a French speaking delight. Breakfast nook on the top floor is a sunny delight. Rooms beautifully furnished, quiet. Centrally located. Amazingly courteous, helpful staff.

The breakfast staff and front desk staff were wonderful and very helpful. They made you feel appreciated. The hotel is located five minutes from Bui Vien Walking Street. And is near a lot of shops and restaurants.

They did not have an elevator on the side where our room was located.

We loved breakfast- simple and good. Options I enjoyed included eggs, baguette, fresh fruits, crepes, and homemade yogurt with passionfruit. The service is superb and Co Hoa (breakfast host) is an absolute joy to be around. She makes sure all needs are met and will even order coffee from the cafe below.

I did not mind but there were no elevators. We were up on the fourth floor. With that being said, staff were great at helping us with heavy luggage. Just a heads up for people who have issues with climbing stairs.

Great stay, very good sized room, great comfy bed. The staff are amazing. We had a problem with our laptop power adapter so staff immediately ran out the door, got a new one and presented to us. The free daily laundry basket is a fantastic idea. Just be aware there is no lift but the steps were not a problem. Loved the local feeling of the area as well.

The location is perfect in the heart of District 1, everything is in the walking distance (around 1 km), while the surrounding is very local with the vendors and street food, cafe, tec. The staff are very friendly and supportive. The bed and pillows are very comfy. Shower and aircon are superb, too.But the spotlight is on the breakfast lady, Ms. Hoa (Fleur). She takes good care of every single guests during their meal with her excellent English, French (and Vietnamese, of course), and being attentive to any small details. The simple home-made breakfast but very fresh and healthy, plus the management of Ms. Hoa, would be compared to a 5 star experience.

The building was apparently renovated from an old building with no lift. However, Chez Mimosa team did put a lot of efforts to make the room aesthetic. Some people may find it a bit chaotic or cramped in this small lane, but not a problem for us.

The location is strategic for those willing to have the best of the two worlds: nightlife and daytime conveniences. We stayed at Chez Mimosa Local, the flat was super quiet. It’s a good option for a short stay. Breakfast is served in another building, and it has excellent food variety, including homemade yogurt. Biên was the best person to check us out. Awesome service!

The mattress was too soft. We didn’t have a good night of sleep. The shower had a funny faucet which came out in my hand. Water drainage in the shower cubicle was problematic.

Noisy for our one night stay . Could hear everything going on outside the property and maybe it was Saturday night but I think we were right next to a club so lots of loud music and cheering . But we had a fun exhausting day so didn’t bother us too much as we’re tired and ready for bed

Beautiful room. Lady Hoa who serves us breakfast is very nice and welcoming. We enjoyed chatting with her a lot.

The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Staff was also great, helpful and polite. Laundry service was included which was perfect for us as we've already been on road for some period of time. Also, they were kind enough to prepare lunch box for us on our last day as we had early flight.

Maybe location wasn't perfect for our needs but it was easy to get around by Grab.

We had three nights here and were very glad we chose this hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, everything from smooth check in, to complimentary laundry service, to breakfast. Our room was a nice size with a desk and seating area -- a good amount of space for two people for three days. Room was made up each day. We had a lot of fun talking to Fleur and her team at the breakfast service, she speaks perfect French and English. They will also do a boxed takeaway breakfast if you have an early start. There is a water cooler in reception for water refill.

Excellent value for money! Even though it is off a busy road, the rooms were really quiet. The staff were lovely and a nice touch was the relaxing foot bath on our last night! Location is about a 15 minute walk from the centre of district 1 but the hotel is close to eateries and supermarkets. There was no lift in our building which could be a problem for those with mobility issues. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.
