    Pros +

    • The location was convenient for visiting the sights in D. There are many options for meals around the hotel. The Hammock was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and efficient. The free breakfast was much appreciated and.
    • The Hammock hotel was so awesome! Really Hip decor, free sodas and snacks, and very attentive staff!
    • free beer and snacks, rooftop

    Cons -

    • First, airport transfer - I figured out that it’s way too overpriced when I installed the local taxi app. The person have not met me at the airport instead I had to wait about 30 mins for the driver
    • It is LOUD outside. Extremely loud. Can hear it through ear plugs loud. From like 7 or 8am it’s almost like there’s someone on a megaphone or a speaker and it goes on for hours and hours. Maybe it was just my room, but it was bad enough that we checked out early.
    • The overhead shower head did not function - room 501. Do fix!

The free snacks and drinks were quite nice. Same with the convenient laundry access and the hammocks on the roof. I personally did not like staying in district 1 but this street felt OK.

Really nice room! Very spacious, and I actually enjoyed relaxing on the hammock!! One of my fav hotels to stay during my 3 wks in Vietnam!

The overhead shower head did not function - room 501. Do fix!

Breakfast was good, not many choice but it had everything that I needed. I enjoyed the free drinks and snacks at the hotel, this was a really good to have unlimited water, drinks and snacks. Also the staff was helpful and friendly.

The rooms are a bit noisy as I could hear street noise and neighbors as the walls are thin. The elevator was down quite a bit, which was not a big issue but could have been if it was during breakfast time to go to the 9th floor.

The staff always smiled, answered questions willingly, worked hard at breakfast, interesting amenities!

    Cleanliness could use some improvement.

The boutique hotel was one of the best I’ve stayed in throughout my travels. First, the room was sparkling clean, and the bed and blanket were soft and comfortable—I had such a good sleep. The towels were fresh and spotless. Breakfast was the highlight, with a different selection every day, and the coffee was simple yet superb. They offer unlimited complimentary water, drinks, beer, chips, milk, and cup noodles, which was a pleasant surprise. There’s also a rooftop bar that’s perfect for hanging out. The guard was very helpful and attentive.Although the hotel isn’t exactly in the city center, most places are within walking distance or just a few minutes away by car or bike. Slippers and toiletries are provided as well.I honestly have no negative comments about this hotel—highly recommended!

    NOTHING!

Fun and funky decor throughout, hammock in the room, all drinks and snacks on the top floor for guests to enjoy, laundry is free and even detergent provided which makes things so much more easier, super friendly staff, breakfast is delicious and fast. Shower, elevator all in good working condition. Walking distance to all main attractions, Grab is your friend and cheap for taxi services.

Location of the hotel is great! Can easily walk to Ben Tahn Market, Saigon Square and Saigon Center. The staff are so helpful and always welcome you with a smile. They greeted us, helped with the luggage and always provide some useful tips and suggestions on where to go and eat.

    Absolutely nothing!

super well located, cool designs, free snacks and drinks !!!! easy to use laundry facilities :) very safe with a security guard 24/7 at the entrance

there was a few ants walking in our breakfast plates one morning and a bit of mold in the corner of our shower - the rest of the room was clean. the staff was very polite but not as friendly as some other places we stayed in vietnam.

The Hammock Hotel is probably ideal for younger travelers because of its quirky decor, plentiful, free cold drinks, including beer and seltzer, and laundry facilities and communal spaces open 24/7.

The rooms are a little tight, with trip hazards where the floor tiles shift down to the bathroom and dim lighting throughout. The property is a little worn and does not seem terribly clean. For the same price, there are more luxurious hotels available in District 1 that I would choose next time, especially for a longer stay.

Prime location, spacious room and great amenity.

Everything, from the start until the end. The hotel is very central, at walking distance from the main atrractions and landmarks. The room was very spacious and omfortable. Staff super friendly and helpful. There are free drinks, snacks and laundry for the guests, any day and any time.Overall a great experience and excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

This was an amazing looking hotel, at a great spot in the centre of Distric 1 in Ho Chi Minh City. The breakfast was amazing and diverse, every day 3 options to choose from with 1 changing item per day. The staff at breakfast was also great, they helped us swiftly with our breakfast requests. Our first room that we had smelled bad but staff responded adequately and we received a new room, which was spotless. It was remarkably quiet for being in the city centre of Ho Chi Minh City. Also remarkable: Free pantry to pick drinks and snacks from at the upper level, including crisps, noodles and beers. Very nice to hang on the rooftop and listen to the sounds on the city at night.

The unlimited free pantry with snacks and water, beer, drinks was amazing. Always stocked up. Great location around eateries and main CBD area. 5 mins walk to Takashimaya. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Included breakfast starts at 7am, which is too late because many organised tours depart from 7-7.30am.Rooms were clean but needed fresh paint. Soundproofing is average: you can hear cars and scooters honking from the 8th floor if facing the street.

The property was great and staff really friendly. The free pantry was very welcome but it also included free beer! Superb. Being able to do laundry was great and having free washing pods made it so much easier, and cheaper.

Good location, walkable to War Remnants museum, Post Office etc close to Ben Thanh market. Option of help yourself snack/soft drinks good. Didn't use but access to washing machine too.

On the first morning unclear how breakfast worked, sat waiting, asked staff who didn't initially explain that you have to order food, menu on an ipad! Ran out of time to have breakfast before a tour started :(

Had an excellent stay here, room is comfortable and pretty spacious considering it’s well located in the city centre. Breakfast was delicious and the range of options was good in my opinion. Also the free noodles/drinks and access to the washers and dryers is a brilliant idea, so convenient.
