Gia Hoa Airport Hotel

Extremely clean room. New bathroom furnishings. Walking distance (15 min) from airport, no cab necessary, very suitable for a layover. There’s an elevator so no worries if you have a lot of luggage. All for only US$15 a night.

Only suitable for a layover stay because it’s close to the airport. If planning to stay in Ho Chi Minh City for a few days, the location is not ideal.

Location and the price okay

This is a 3 star rated facility and had no coffee or tea for our use. After purchasing some items at the local dairy and required to boil water, the electric socket at the bedside was not working. I had to use the socket below the tv and had to improvise because there was no table to set the kettle up on. In general there requires some maintenance to the tap in the bathroom.

The hotel is really close to the airport.The room is a good size.

After the shower, the bathroom is completely wet.

The hotel looks good at the first sight. My room (#2 at M-level) was ample, with TV set, hair dryer, electric kettle, some cups. No window. WiFi was OK. Unfortunately, I had a number of unwanted companions - cockroaches - I killed three and one ran away. It was really disgusting. Location of the hotei is very convenient - 15 mins walk from the airport. No need to take taxi if you arrive at a day time. I was disappointed with the reception guy - when I tried to pay the bill using credit card he said it did not work and I had to pay cash. Then I went to the 7/11 shop opposite the hotel and I paid using Visa debit card without any problem. It looks like the guy wanted cash and deceived me.

Excellent location, very helpful and accommodating staff. Good internet, and good air conditioning in rooms.

The beds were quite firm, however, the rooms were more than adequate for staying the night before a morning flight.

Only one pillow, partner found the mattress a little hard, bathroom was glass with a curtain - fine if by yourself but perhaps less privacy with another. Overall fine given cost though.

This place serves its purpose as a place to stay for one night in transit to or from the airport. It is clean and conveniently located next to the airport. It’s rather far from the main tourist area, but that is easily accessible via Grab or by riding the public bus down route 152.

I didn’t research this place thoroughly enough to realize that the window in the base rate room is not a window to the outside. It leads to the stairwell. So there is no natural light. Fine for one night but I ended up having a change of travel plans and had to stay. It’s not great for an extended stay.

Bad noise isolation, you can clearly hear your neighbours like the are in the same room.

The pickup service to and from the airport is expensive and bad. The pick multiple people in on car and the guy with me he spoke to the phone loud and rude.

The staff was very helpful. Super close to the airport. They offer drop off and pick ups from and to the airport. Very clean room.

My room was well put and clean. Had all what you need including toothpaste and brush. There is a 7-11 right in front of the hotel.

It is very convenient to airport, only a short walk. A compact and very clean room.

The hotel close to airport. The staff was helpful and responsive for my needs for transfer from and to airport, although I think they charges for the transfer fee away higher than if you take grabcar

The bed is very hard. Its like you are sleeping on the floor and it wasnot comfortable at all. Price is not value for money considering the bed, room size, condition and other amneties inside the room.

In the photographs in the booking there were rooms with windows on the street, in fact there was one window overlooking the corridor. It’s hard to even call it a window. There is no tea, coffee or water in the room.
