Sai Gon Amigo Hotel

The location was good and easy to find, but be prepared to walk a bit because cars won't fit down the street. The staff were absolutely exceptional - reassured us when we had any and all questions or requests, and were always happy to crack a joke with us. They also received deliveries for me and kept our luggage safe on our check-our date before we headed off to the airport. The room was fairly spacious and the linen smelt very clean and was very comfortable.

The shower was a little bit difficult and uncomfortable to use (squishy, sometimes only lukewarm water, the top showerhead leaked so the water release was not consistent), but otherwise, the place was actually super comfortable! We stayed the night Vietnam won a football competition, and despite all of the noise outside from the celebrations, we weren't actually disturbed that much!

The location was good. The bed was comfortable and the shower is excelent. There is a fridge in the room and a cofffe pot. They provide shampoo.They changed towrls everyday and made the bed and cleaned the rooom.TV works for local chanels.

The room is too small. There was no much space and the bathroom is very thight. The bathroom rug was very dirty and the towels really need an upgrade. The AC does not allow modulation. They gave us a bottle of water, but there is not a supply of water.

My balcony room was spacious and kept clean with daily housekeeping. It had one queen and one single bed. Although the room seemed a little older, it was well-maintained. The staff provided exceptional service – a perfect 10/10. The hotel's location is excellent, right near numerous restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Highly recommended if you value tranquility, safety, cleanliness, and incredibly friendly staff.

The staff were very friendly and the location of the property was very accessible. The hotel room was really clean and the room was quite large compared to hotels I've tried in other Asian countries.

The alleyway outside of the hotel was not super clean but the hotel and its location with respect to nearby attractions and markets made up for it. Short walk away from famous places in HCMC.

The WiFi was not always reliable in the room.

Everything is good. Location is 10/10. Very near bui vien walking street. Benh tanh market 10 minutes walking. Many local foods around here. They clean up everyday and renew stuff like towel and toothbrush.

Need to drag our luggage to main road because car couldn’t go in.

Greatly value and friendly staff. Rooms aren’t the biggest, but it’s not bad if you’re looking for a cheaper option.

Great Friendly reception staff

The cleaning ladies were very noisy when asking me if I was cleaning the room or not, because it was too early and they were upset because I told them to clean it later.

Big room ( family room) with a balcony overlooking the pretty street below. Icy cold aircon. Very friendly and helpful staff who helped us book our onward travel, organised laundry at a good price and were quick to fix any problems. The hotel is in a great location for everything you’d want in the Pham Lao area.

Hot water in the bathroom was a bit hit and miss in the mornings but came good in the afternoons. Wifi on the 4th floor where we were was fairly weak and a bit patchy. Small inconveniences really.

Unstable internet

We booked the family room with a balcony. Everything was so perfect! Really good value and very near to Bui Vien Walking Street. There are a lot of convenienece stores that open 24 hours. Everything you need is accessible. Will definitely stay here again if we travel back to Ho Chi Minh City

The room was really nice, it had a separated shower. The hotel is close to the Main Street and restaurants. I went to 3 different hotels in Ho Chi Minh City and this one was definitely the best one!

i had an amazing stay at this hotel for 3 nights. It was super clean and I felt completely safe throughout my visit. the location couldn’t be better, it’s right near all the main tourist spots: central market, ben thanh market, bus stops, bui vien street, making sightseeing super easy, plus, there’s a 24/7 convenience store (7eleven) just few steps away, which was really convenient, and the bed was incredibly comfortable and i loved how refreshing the shower was after a long day of exploring. Overall, this place is perfect if you're looking for friendly budget, comfort, convenience, and cleanliness stay. Highly recommend!!:)

this hotel was mostly great, but the staff left a lot to be desired, the staff were not so welcoming and seemed pretty inattentive, it felt like customer service wasn’t their priority, which was disappointing. however i didn’t mind their service, the place itself was already so nice nothin to complaints about.

I had a family room which had great size and a balcony, it was on the 2nd floor so the water pressure was not an issue. A friend who stayed at the upper level was having troubles with the shower because of the low pressure. But for me it was all good.

The location is great for visiting places, however, the nightlife is overwhelwing in that area of the city and the music from the nearest bars do not stop until 5am. All 3 nights I had to sleep with the earplugs and it was still too loud.

Hotel said last minute - room unavailable which dissappointed me so they passed me onto the hotel next to it for some commission and not to tell Bookings.com!Avoid this hotel as let me down big time as I booked their family room in advance only to be let down
