The price

The shower gear is leaking so the pressure of the water is very weak.

Asked for a non smoking room and they only had a smoking room left. It was gross and dirty. I the smell of smoke actually kept me up at night it was so pungent. The floor was so dirty that my white socks turned black. There was no window in my room and the fan in the bathroom did even work so there was zero air circulation. There was only 1 tiny little table to put anything on. I left after the first night and stayed somewhere else it was so bad. I asked for a refund for my last 2 nights and they said no because I was booked through booking.com, otherwise they would have refunded me.

Good location, lovely staff. I got a balcony room with nice view.

Downtown location. White and spotless towels. Staff supportive enough when asked for kettle. Quick check in and check out. Natural light in the morning and tree shades are pleasant.

Poor lighting. Weak water from shower tap, like pouring from a bottle. Air-con full of dust and mechanically inbalanced, causing noise like a car. Balcony has 3 sets of air con heat units, generating noise like trucks overnight. Water from shower room spills to toilet seat. Hair in bed.

Good location. Strong WiFi. Hot water and TV. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful :)

Checked into our (first room). No window and a rotten smell coming from the bathroom. It became unbearable so requested to move to another room which wasn’t an issue, the reception staff helped us promptly. Moved to a room below, still a smell and room wasn’t clean. Hairs on the bed, huge patches of black mould on the wall and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Air con worked (although occasionally leaked water) and it was really loud. Understand it’s a budget hotel and we are usually very laid back in terms of standards as we’re backpacking but unfortunately this was a very disappointing stay. Cleanliness was a real issue...luckily we were out most of the day. Would not recommend.

Staff is really nice. We got early check in for no extra cost. Hotel is at 5 min walking distance from bui vien street.

A lot of insects around the room. Room was not very clean.

Apart from the nice and handsome looking receptionist/manager, the room fell short of my basic expectations: stench smell from toilet, toilet floor very slippery, my daughter fell down. Current plugs and bed arrangement very unconvenient for usage. Fridge was unplugged, TV conveniently broken down, right time when i checked in. Definitely my first and last at Phu Gia

Staff were helpful

There are two properties of the same name one is on a very busy noisy road. With aircons on the balcony that sound like trains.

The location was good and the staff very helpful. It was cheap and served our purpose for two days sightseeing as we did spend any real time in the room. There is a lift to all floors.

The beds were not comfortable it could do with some decorating

Friendly staff, good location, 24hour front desk was very useful, clean and comfy room

Shower was cold and seemed to have no hot water.

The location is great and it’s an okay value stay for a couple of days which is why I booked it. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

The room didn’t feel very clean on arrival and the mattress wasn’t the best. Appreciate it’s a low budget stay so you get what you pay for :)

Great Central Location in District 1. Near the start of Bui Vien Street but no noise from there.
